Seems like the exact thing they WOULD sell in the south. Hmm, check for them in your local grocery! Maybe they don't make them anymore. Haven't eaten them in like six years.

I absolutely love Chicken In A Biskit crackers and can tell you they are in ALL the grocery stores here in Houston, so I'm sure most stores in The Hill Country ought to have them. But memorize what that box picture looks like before you go ... in the big cookies and crackers aisle, that single column of boxes really doesn't stand out.
Yum!!!

I remember those, as well as the biscuits that were shaped like goldfish.

Well I couldn't stand it so I went to the grocery store to look for something to quell the CIAB craving I had and I bought Vegetable Thins and they are fantastic. Taste like I remember CIAB tasting.

My mom used to eat those so much when she was on her big diet (one that made her lose a ton of weight but she plateaued). I'm sick of them as a result XD

Man, I can't believe I'm spending my night anxiously waiting for poll results on the gay marriage vote in Maine.
Some people make a plate of nachos and watch sports. I make nachoes and watch politics.

... I think I've just won a cute little studded leather paddle just for answering a simple question on an online shop's prize draw.
I do hope it arrives and is nice, it looked ever so cute.

1) Vegetable Thins are very tasty ... but they don't taste like or as good as Chicken In A Biskit crackers ... and if you're thinking they taste the same, you're memory is failing you. Get the Chicken In A Biskit crackers and see if you don't agree with me.
2) I am annoyed that I recorded the big premier night of the modern updating of the "V" miniseries last night ... and to watch it I have to put up with that crappy election results crawl across the bottom 20% of my 46 inch TV! For Pete's sake, the station advertised during the evening news that people could stay up to date on the election results by going to their website ... but now the big blockbuster special-effects premier of this series is marred by that crap graphic blocking out the bottom fifth of the screen. It pisses me off! What a buncha crap. And don't anyone tell me some people wanted to know that stuff minute by minute ... that's what the fucking internet is FOR!!!
3) On the other hand, I am amused as hell over this!
A 29-year-old man says he stabbed himself and claimed he was assaulted by three skinheads or Hispanic males to get out of working his shift at Blockbuster Video!
Bwah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah!

I understand. So you enjoy Vegetable Thins instead. I'm just clarifying that I like them both, and they definitely do not taste anything like each other.
BTW, since mock apple pie can be made with Ritz Crackers instead of apples, I wonder if there is a way to make mock Chicken In A Biskit without chicken?'
Here's the CIAB ingredients list.
In a completely unrelated note:
Ooh-E-ooh-ah-ah, ping-pang-wallah-wallah-bing-bang!

Because I am lovely and kind, I have bought the Gent a little bottle of white absinthe, same brand as the green but 74% instead of 72%
Definitely will need to be louched fully with sugar and ice water, but supposedly has a smoother flavour than the herb-steeped green.
