Introductions-Author Denise Verrico
Hi. I'm a writer with my first novel (vampire urban fantasy) hopefully coming out the end of this month, from L&L Dreamspell. I've got an interview at www.missdanaidae.blogspot.com from Halloween you can read.
I teach acting and have also writeen and directed plays regionally and in NYC.
My favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird, I Claudius, I Am Legend, Interview With A Vampire, Pride and Predjudice, w/and w/o zombies. I'm a big Joss Whedon fan. Love Buffy and Firefly but way behind on Doll's House. My music reflects my age. I love Queen. I'm gonna live forever, but if I had to have a casket it would have to have a view. I prefer cremation. Favorite films, Citizen Caine,The Godfather 1 and 2, Night of the Living Dead, Slumdog Millionaire. Favorite current TV show. Being Human from BBC. favorite outfit was my Halloween costume which is a character introed in my third novel-He's a temple artist/Immortyl courtesan. Ye've probably got a point there POS.
But seeing how she claims to be an author and doesn't even take the few moments to use proper grammar on an intro yet I can do that small courtesy while buzzed, borderline on drunk after a couple strong whiskeys with lemonade and a hot bath I don't think I'd pick up her novels or what ever she's written if it fell into my hot little lap right now 
What the fuck ever happened to the "you never get a second chance to make a first impression" positive mindset and effort?

Well, she does right "urban vampire fantasy" so you really can assume she has no talent, and by extension, no grammatical knowledge.

Sorry for upsetting things. I do want to be friends.
I read the intro thread and thought this was the spot where everyone intros themselves and yes there were errrors in my post because I was unable to edit it. I spelled Citizen Kane wrong, my favorite film, among other things. My screen froze when I tried to fix them. I'm actually not a horrible person and I am interested in discussing topics with others of similar interests. I thought there were other writers on this site and well as people who enjoy the same kind of reads and films that I do.

1. You haven't posted outside this thread.
2. Your entire reason for being here is clearly to advertise your book(s). Don't insult our intelligence by suggesting you're here to discuss anything that doesn't relate to you selling books.
3. Yes, there are writers here, but the purpose of the literary forum is to post your work, and get feedback. Not to advertise.
4. Ignoring all of that, posting advertisements for "vampire urban fantasy" books, in the midst of the pathetic Twilight craze, will get your more abuse than you already deserve for writing "vampire urban fantasy" in the first place.
