Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I was thinking something along the lines of "Meet my brother Guatto." or a landmine victim for next year. Ooooo maybe "Giant head bursting out of my torso-demon with animatronic, or at least a movable mouth or something lame like that. I could also try and make a Monarch suit. Make it more eviiillll...."

Working on a vest, this is what I did today:

Cut off the arms and sewed one patch on, I have rest made but they also need sewing and I'm slow.
...sorry about the clarity, took it with a webcam.

Glad I'm not the only one who starts early.
I either wanna be Mary Poppins or get two more people to get in on it and go as the Tremor boys from Smokin' Aces.
Cosmic, good start.

I don't have a pic because I'm a lazy fuck, but recently I've learned to convert regular pants into bell-bottoms/non-tapered. I like baggy pants but I don't like sagging. If I wear a belt, it looks retarded because the top of the legs and calfs are really baggy, but then the suck in at the ankles and look stupid, so I just take some spare fabric (Sometimes I'll buy it, other times I'll find an old shirt/sheet/whathefuckever and cut it up for fabric. slice the legs up the sides and sew the fabric in the middle. Instant awesome pants.
There's a handy little how to here: http://www.wikihow.com/Cut-Jeans-to-Make-a-Wider-Leg
I have trouble finding pants that I actually like, so I'm in the habit of buying eight dollar wal-mart pants (never jeans) and modify the fuck out of them, so much that they look nothing like the base product.

I cut up a lot of my T-shirts, and sew them up to fit my size. I threw paint and white-out on one jacket and created my own design...after cutting the sleeves off of it..that and added saftey pins onto it.... and i have a hoodie which i riddled with saftey pins.
This kinda counts?

Done with a two-piece stencil that I made. This shirt was done for a friend, I also made myself a Death shirt (pics of that later). Picture quality is SHIT, it looks much better in person.

I made a couple of pairs of earrings to go in my friends Xmas box. She's always on at me to make her something.

A mint green ribbed scarf, a ribbed multicolour hat (it looks lumpy in the picture and I'm not sure why, I think its just the way the dark purple is showing. Its quite flat really) and a green keyhole scarf I'm working on, I just started with the second colour so only 96 rows left for that one. I'm trying to keep my projects simple so I can get them done really quick for Christmas, I'm going to make four or so more scarves and if I have time a devil hat for my sister. I'll have more impressive projects after Christmas and with a proper camera ^_^
