I've heard some things that are concerning ...
Haven't read the books, so I'd like someone to confirm if this is true. Heard that they can't have sex before they get married, and when they finally do she's pregnant right away. And they call the baby Renesme ... or however you would spell their mom's names put together.
The worst part is the sparkling. If it was like a thousand diamonds cutting into their skin, I'd feel better about that. But no ... it doesn't hurt ... it just sparkles.

The first book was painful for me to read. I watched the first movie with Rifftrax, so at least it was somewhat amusing.
Honestly, if these were B movies I'd never heard of that I found in the $5 used DVD bin at Blockbuster, I could understand it and maybe like it. But the fact that these sorry excuses for entertainment are so popular really galls me. x_x;;;
Maybe I should buy a monkey and have him shit on paper. Then I could be a gazillionaire too, because that's apparently all it takes. >_<
