Been a while...

I thought I'd drop back in, been a loooonnggg time. I haven't had a chance to look around, so I don't know who'll be here that I recognise. Anyway....

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work in a Pet Shop. Not sure what my job title is exactly.

2. Where are you from?
Hampshire.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I really can't just pick one, I like Stephen King, Philip Reeve, David Gemmel, Leonard Cohen, and a load more. I read a LOT when I have the time. A lot of it's fantasy, but there are other bits and pieces mixed in.

4. What are your favorite films?
Ginger Snaps, The Dark Knight, Two Hands, Black Snake Moan, Pitch Black, Sin City, 28 Days Later.
I'm looking forward to seeing The Road soon (and hearing the soundtrack,) and I want to catch the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when it comes out.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
When the Sky - Frank the Baptist. Let the Bells Ring - Nick Cave. Lacuna Coil - Without Fear. Magdelena - A Perfect Circle. I'd finish with First and Last and Always - Sisters of Mercy.

6. At your funeral?
Crooked Still - Ain't No Grave, and a bunch of other stuff.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to go when my girlfriend goes, I don't mind how. Ideally I'd like to die by her side in extreme old age in a big old bed with the sun just coming in through the window on us both. I'd like to be looking at her when I go.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Don't mind in the slightest. Do they make double caskets?

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I'm way too lazy for that. Generally a shirt with a vest underneath, jeans and boots. Usually depends what's clean.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Nothing much really. I've never grown up.

11. What's your favorite band?
Very difficult. I listen to a LOT of music. Recently I've been going through bands like Crooked Still, Little Big Town, Jace Everett, and a lot of blues - Son House, Robert Johnson, R.L. Burnside, Skip James etc.

Solid favourites would be Nick Cave, Sisters of Mercy, Frank the Baptist, The Doors, Tom Waits, Burnside, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Tiamat, Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, Johnny Hollow, Sex Gang Children, Fields of the Nephilim, Johnny Cash, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Chris Isaak, A Perfect Circle.

There are a lot more, but if you're really that interested, you'll just have to ask.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Currently in my second year at college, studying Art, Archaeology and English Lit. I'm hopefully going to go to Uni afterwards to do Archaeology.

13. Why did you join?
Honestly, it was a LONG time ago, I don't remember.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I am be-dicked.

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was a bit of a letdown -- got a bit ridiculous towards the end with all the stand-ins for Heath Ledger. It did look as though it could have been promising.

Welcome back. You like music that I also like.

Your music taste is fantastic and you work in a pet shop. Cool enough for my books.

I've always enjoyed reading your posts in the past, so I'm pleased to see you return.

"I've never grown up" and "Robert Johnson" won you bonus points in my book.

Welcome "back" to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

Dude, how can I not welcome back the waiter of my novella Town and Turret?
Lacuna Coil and a double casket cinched it for me, and the good looks (your hair is awesome) are gravy.

Hello again. I pop in and out as well with ridiculously long stretches of time in between. Life and all that.
