His last listed post is from 1-27-10 but he was eyeball sporked 2-5-10. So something he posted on the fifth that got deleted was what got him booted. I wonder what it was. Or was it the smurf avatar after all?

You never really know with him, it could have been pretty much anything.
I had a good day at work today, I booked three people and I think two of the other couples that I spoke with will book tomorrow, they just need some time to get settled and figure out their schedules.
I also got to make someones day, which is always nice. She was coming to tour William and Mary with her parents and wanted to know if any of the restaurants in town had vegan and gluten free options, I gave her a few places but I also happen to know of a pizza place that has the options of gluten free crust and vegan cheese and delivers both to our units as well as W&M's campus. She hadn't had pizza since she was in elementary school so she was pretty stoked about that.

Quoted from Leo Laporte, nationally syndicated tech talk-radio host:
OK that takes the cake. Caller on today's radio show was stealing wi-fi (it's "Linksys" so it's ok right?) and was mad because after a year and a half it "disappeared." She even bought a wi-fi extender hoping to get it back. That's the definition of chutzpah.

I think he posted porn and that would probably have been what banned him.
I spent today with my brother, and taught him how to cook a few things. Kid had no flour or cooking oil at his house though, it was odd. I know I hardly cooked a thing when I first moved out too but I always had at least those two things >.>
Oh Ben, I had a roommate like that! She never wanted to buy internet and I didn't have a computer at the time so I didn't really have a say in it, but she got really indignant if the wifi she was stealing was down or slow.

Yeah, it's amazing. When I managed a chain of convenience stores and I noticed we had a serious shrinkage problem in one of the stores, I put some anti-theft measures into play and then made it a point to hang out in the place for a while. I actually identified one person as a likely thief.
He was indignant with me, saying "Yo, why you want to be puttin' all these cameras and mirrors and shit up? What, you don't trust people or something?"
I said, "Stuff's getting stolen. I aim to make it stop. I don't care if that breaks up your day."
I thought it was funny that he knew who I was and he thought he had some business complaining to me that I was trying to make it harder for him to steal from my store. How absurd.

Yeah I get a lot of lip from customers when they want to go in the fitting room and we have a limit, or sometimes they get upset that I want to count how many items they are bringing in. I once had an old lady shove me out of the way and run into a room O.o

We get those customers too. Along with the scammers who get pissy when we wont return their bogus items.
On a side note, I fell on my ass infront of a crowd of people tonight. Wasn't even drunk. Just not used to walking in heels.

My Gent's gone home after the weekend.
So, at some point I must get myself up and have something sensible to eat that's not a banana or a glass of juice, but I kinda just want to curl up in bed and sleep. I've only been awake about seven hours.

I think I'm going to take a trip to St Pierre this summer, but I can't decide if I want to go by myself or invite someone, and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't be complaining the entire time. MAYBE my sister, she's been there before and loves it, plus she's bilingual so that'll be an advantage. Mom wouldn't complain but I don't think I'm old enough to enjoy travelling with her.

If you like tineye.com, you'll also like http://www.gazopa.com/ and http://labs.ideeinc.com/upload/ as they are similar in concept reverse image searches to tineye - they each do the job just a little differently.

I have a new avatar because I was getting unhappy with the old one. I realized that every board I've ever joined had the stereotypical cynical know-it-all asshole with some sort of skull/evil clown/Joker avatar. I didn't see one on Gnet...then I realized, it was me.
The skull guy with the pistol was actually the logo from Comedy Death Ray but I suspect few people got the reference so the parodic element was lost and it looked like any other asshole with a skull avatar.
My new avatar is more in keeping with my screen name anyway.

If you allow yourself to wallow in it enough, then yes. Let's hope you don't do that.

Why can't they just give us subjects that are related to the courses we take? Why do I still have to attend an Algebra Class? I'm a Nursing student for christ's sake!

Maths can be relevant to almost anything, including Nursing. Calculating correct dosages for patients, rates of absorbtion to bloodstream of various medicines or substances, differences in effect depending on age/current health condition/size, etc. And restocking stuff, like working out how fast you go through X-Type or Y-Sized bandages and reminding whoever orders to restock accordingly. Margins of error often involve maths, too.
