Race is a social construct, for starters. And we can do this another way, is anti-semitism racist? I mean, anybody can convert to Judaism, right? There is no denying the xenophobia and racist ties of Islamophobia, especially when your criticism that Muslims are taking over Europe, when they are treated a racial minority in many countries there.

Most Iranians are actually Persians, but because of the race-as-a-social-construct model they are mostly lumped together with Arabs, sorta like how we lump all people of dark skin as black when they see themselves as a whole plethora of races.
