Metalcore, quit calling it hardcore already, there's a difference, shitty metal with bad drumming and crappy vocals, and hardcore punk, get it right!

I don't hate any particular genre. I enjoy music from a wide variety of genres and would be severely limiting my tastes if I chose to only listen to specific types of music. Genre snobs piss me off.

While there are some styles I don't lean to as much as others, I don't outright hate any style of music.
For example, I used to think country was pretty much crap until I found out about Thea Gilmore and Hank Williams the Third. Those two fucking rock.

Yeah, Hank is pretty fucking swell.
On another note, I hate bad hip hop. The large majority of it is bad, which is why I don't enjoy listening to most of it.

This kinda fits in with this thread, but I don't like people who only like the "classic" albums by a band and always talk about how shitty all the other ones are. My case in point, people hate a lot of Black Flag's later output, Family Man, Slip It In, Loose Nut and In My Head. I used to be this guy until I gave a listen to those albums and they're all really swell!

Yeah HW is awesome. Country has an undeserved bad rep - plenty of kick-ass there.
Hating on genres betrays a deep well of ignorance and lack of diversity in taste. I find it difficult to talk to people who only like 2 or 3 kind sof music with much interest.

There really is genres out there that. Well.

Come on - there isn't ONE decent dansband? There must be. I agree that most hip hop is shit-awful, but the gems, though few and far between, are there.

No, not one. I was kind and linked to the ... least horrible example I am aware of. It does not get any better than Vikingarna. Only worse. In some cases far, far worse. 
How do I know? Well, ancient I may be, but even I have parents. Wonderful people. Terrible taste in music.
