Erm, feminists never burned bras, it was a myth. Nor was being celibate, although a small group in the second wave did advocate not sleeping with men, but back then if your husband ***** you it wasn't legally considered r@pe, being married back then still meant giving a man unfair control over you. Mind you back when women couldn't even own property and their husbands legally owned them and their salaries, feminist still got married, it was never a majority view.

Nah, it was a myth created after a protest in which bras and panties were thrown into a garbage bin in protest of the Miss America pageant, somehow it got reported that they were burned.

I agree that they were not burned. I'm saying the reason they were not burned is that a permit for the burning could not be obtained.
