Well, now I finally got a hair cut, so it's the shortest it's ever been. It's shorter at the back, and long on the sides, going down to my jawline. I also got some hair extensions for it now that I can wear it down since it's not a giant frizz ball anymore. Just gonna cut one hair extension to the length of my hair and leave the other long for when it grows long, cause, really, I just got it cut short to start over without having to shave my head bald.

COlour: natural dark dark brown, with a few flecks of purple remaining at the front. Shaved Grade#2 on the sides, long along the top in a kind of down hawk that I usually keep swept to one side as it's too thick to stay upright now. It's dyke hair and I love it.

I have a question though, I might pick up some hair dye the weekend and have a friend dye it, and I was thinking about getting a fun colour like purple or blue. I have dark brown hair and I don't really want to bleach it, if I got something like Manic Panic over my hair, it says on their website that it'll "highlight" it, I just want to ask and make sure that by "highlight" they mean that when the light hits there's purple hues?

From ages 11 to 18 I was dying my platinum hair blue-black... Then I grew tired of doing my regrowth every 2 weeks (for people who know Hair colour: i am naturally a 10 and I dye them a 1). At age 19 I went back to my natural hair colour... YES IT IS POSSIBLE!!! and now I am dying it even paler so I am practically white platinum. I did have to cut half my hair and while doing it I thought why not get extremely short?? so I have the right side of my head that's almost shaven...like 3cm and the left side of my head is like 15cm long. the back is shaven also.

Still growing out the black. Got about two inches of natural growth, then 7 inches of black 'hawk. Sides are about a half-inch.
My hair is a lot more red than blonde, these days.

My hair is maybe four inches long in front, an inch shorter in the back, and everything in between is, well, everything in between. No dye, so my hair is dark blond/light brown (though I've been having more exposure to this SoCal sun lately, so it's getting lighter). I don't do anything special with it, just wet it, comb it back, and however it dries is how it stays... unless there's an annoying bit of hair that decided to do against the grain.

My hair is almost to my waist and straight as a pin. It is black from about three inches from the scalp, and I am fighting the blond with a nice rich red for the roots.

well my hair is black, really long (when it's wet it's almost at my waist!), really wavy with lots of volume, and some bangs over to the side of my face (not covering my eye).

There's a jar of Purple Haze staring me down at my desk but it hasn't been opened yet because I can't make up my mind how I want to apply it!
Currently I have my hair to the bottom of my bra strap, and it has deep burgundy brown fading + growing out. I'm naturally medium-dark brown haired.
