My comment was not meant offensive, merely a jest in relation to your thread.
As for why it actually is a little cliché. I will be using the original Nordic names here.
Well, Odin paid his eye to the head of Mimer in exchange for the wisdom of Mimer's well.
So he paid his eye to know everything, and his ravens act as his eyes and ears in the world.
So by sacrificing his eye, he became infinitely more powerful through the power of knowledge.
So reading your name, Odineye or Odin's Eye, I chuckled, but it is also a little cliché seeing as how it is little more original than just Odin.
Nevertheless, it is not a bad name. Glad to see someone with some knowledge of the Nordic myths.

I wasn't offended by it. That's why I told you to try harder. As for my name. Nice knowledge of my name. Can you name the Ravens?

I could once. Without googling it, I couldn't now, no.
I am Nordic however, so I know a lot of the myths by heart. I grew up with them.
Did you know in some renditions of the myth it is stated that Odin puts his eye IN the well in order to achieve the knowledge?

I wouldn't know really.
A fact not known by all of the people who claim to know of Nordic myths is that Hel, Midgard's Worm and The Fenris Wold are all Loke's(english name: Locke in some renditions, usually Loki) children.

Yes, I remember now.
That was his attempt to beat the creators of Mjölnir in his bet, right?

Anyway, off to bed I am. Goodnight mate. I will be glad to continue this exchange of words at a different moment.
As for now, I am making silly typing mistakes such as calling Hel Loke's son instead of his daughter(corrected already) and I can barely keep my eyes open.
Therefore, I bid you goodnight before I say some sort of insensible babble from which I will not be able to recover with any amount of clever remarks.

Mjolnir was the builder right. I can't recall totally. Something about building a wall in so many days but loki seduced the workhorse is what I remember.
Well met
