Oy G.NET...
Name my new fish!!!
Its a baby black angelfish and I can't decide on a name for it ( can't tell the sex unless you have a pair who are breeding ,as they look identical until one lays eggs indicating it's female )

Okay, that was just a whimsical suggestion off the top of my head.

Eldritch
We don't usually name our fish. We have named the two Bettas (Dab + Ra) but all the catfish and tetras are nameless. Not even the poor snail is named.

Aw ^^ If I have a lot of one species I don't bother to name them espescially if they all look identical. Like tetras ect. My old snail was called Hubert Cumberdale
Still thinking. Eldritch is good, or Von if we're on the subject of the gumpy bald one..
He's a greedy little bugger, I may call him Fat Bob....

I'm not usually into giving animals cutesy names, but since fish lack the capacity to suffer from indignity, I'd have to say he looks like a Captain Beefheart to me.

Its on my list of animal names. But I'm waiting for a male dog or cat so I can actually get a name tag for their collar that says "Hello, my name is INIGO MONTOYA"
Call him Nicodemus!

I HAVE IT! I could give him a really ridiculous posh "show" name of the sort people give to dogs at crufts. Something like Lord fizzlepop bangpants gunslinger the fourth or something....

My aunt and uncle got a used show dog that came with the name Sparkle. I think it will permanently be Spargel in my mind, though, which is German for asparagus.

Pfff, HT, you know the only true name on ANY pet is Spiggy.
Lord Spiggy the Wet, preferably.
