What she's saying is that she simply meant what she said, that nothing on gnet is a good use of time. She didn't say or indicate that she was annoyed with you or the OP.

Yeah, I get that. I got it in the first place. It would be fine if she hadn't criticized me with such a snarky comment for responding to her.

Ophelia, if it makes any difference, there are times when I am genuinely glad you choose to waste some of your time here.

Not quite sure how old that little sister was at the time but I kind of hope it was the US version, with all of the sexuality and such cut out cuz the original wasn't made for kids.

I believe she is referring to the relationship between Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus.

There was that scene where Tuxedo Mask (in retrospect WHAT AN AWFUL NAME) beat the ever loving shit out of Sailor Moon. And the transformations were a little more risque but there wasn't any detailed nudity at least.
Sailor Neptune and Uranus were okay, they were just lesbian O.O They make children's books about homosexuality now, its fine!
Oh, and there was more ecchi.

Probably, it was still kinda hard to see though.
Overall the censorship wasn't all that terrible. Not like what Fox Kids does nowadays.

It's cool anyway, it's an anime. There were bound to be some lesbians sooner or later.

Are you watching the Japanese version or the American version? I think in the American version they are "cousins" instead.

Sorry to do this, it's acutally nihonjin, not nihongojin (nihongo means "japanese language"). Although, technically "japanese language person" could still refer to a Japanese person. Sorry again ^^;;;
Out of curiosity Lenore, you speak nihongo?

Anyone remember if any scenes referring to Toya's sexuality in CardCaptor Sakura were edited out of the English dub?

I'm pretty sure it was edited out, but it could very well be that I missed those episodes?

I was thinking of rewatching Cardcaptor Sakura. I really want to see those moments, but I don't wanna watch them subbed because I'm already used to the dubbed version :/
