Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Industrial.
So I've really been getting into industrial lately. But the problem is I only like a couple of songs. Like Oh my goth! by Razed in Black, I'll damage you by Razed in Black, Lover's end by the birthday massacre, and Day of Light by KMFDM. Can someone help me find songs that similar to these? Thanks.

Don't listen to them, Storm. Throbbing Gristle will make your ears bleed.
You can try Suicide Commando, Combichrist, Wumpscut or Android Lust if you like those songs you listed. Maybe Grendel.

Whether or not Throbbing Gristle is enjoyable is beside the point, they are industrial. And far more so than the EBM and aggrotech that people call "industrial" these days.

Yes, but I think the OP is more interested in finding music that sounds like what they've already heard than being lectured on what is and isn't industrial.

But surely there-¨s a diference between saying "this is not the type of music you are looking for" and "you ears will bleed and your mind will melt due to the poisonous nature of the soundwaves produced by that band-s instruments"

I can't stand Throbbing Gristle, and I listen to Merzbow, so clearly I don't mind ear-bleeding...
Skinny Puppy is the shit though. And yea, KMFDM is industrial/rock/metal type stuff, but they're still cool.

I don't hate you. Saying I hate you would be like saying I hate a dog with no legs trying to cross a busy freeway.

I don't get why you would like Merzbow and not Throbbing Gristle. Not calling you out or anything but have you listened to much Throbbing Gristle? The influence they've had on noise is immediately recognisable.
