Tired of being stupid.
We all have our dumb moments. But, it seems i go through life stumbling. Slurring and forgetting the words i used to use commonly. I used to think i just sucked at talking to people, i know what i want to convey, but i end up using a word that doesn't even belong in the sentence. Now, I've been able to get away with it, being where i live. But, it doesn't annoy me any less. I am getting lazier, procrastinating more and more, and getting distracted easier and easier. I feel like my brain is degenerating. Any ideas? Maybe it's just a phase...

Try doing Sudoku. It's a good activity for people with Alzheimer's Disease.
That happens to me a lot too. The usual cause of it is having myself not talk. I had times where I was so busy with schoolwork that I didn't talk to a single soul for MONTHS. And the end results, my ability to communicate verbally went *ploop*. Just go and be social. You don't have to go all out of once. Just stay calm. No one is going to judge you for not saying anything. And when you have the clear idea ready, let it out.

Well how old are you? It could be a phase. If you're a teen it seems more natural. As you get older like 21-22 it goes away and things start to get easier...but sometimes it's just the weather or the mood. I've noticed when I feel unhappy then it's harder to focus, too. So try to stay happy and things are easier.

If you smoke a lot of weed, now would be a good time to take a break...?

I am 21 going on to 22 and against the use of weed outside of medical uses. However I've found caffeine gets my head together for a lil' while. But, thx for the suggestions.

OH MY GOD ME TOO . Dumbasses unite.
I can relate with all of that. I notice that I spell things incorrectly when I would normally have no problems with said word, I can't get out a sentence and when people talk to me I resort to stuttering and saying "yeah" a lot. It's hard for me to concentrate on anything and I can't think abstractly at all.

Actually I would get tested for diabetes or kidney failure. Just get the full blood testing done, 8 viles. That sounds weird. Maybe Hypothyroidism... multiple scerolsis.... I don't know.

I think kontan is right, in a awkward yet hilarious way. Yet, the issue with the internet is it seems to send people into hypochondria easier and easier, so instead of listing my problems off and getting 50 different results and start getting paranoid because im told i could have a gerbil eating my lungs. Especially if it's just something stupid.

Did you inhale and gerbil? That could be it.

Dude, Catch has really been on point lately.
Back on topic go to your doctor and tell him what is going on, don't forget to mention that caffeine seems to help as that can indicate a number of things. He may just tell you to work your brain or it could be medical, no harm in talking to him about it, besides if it is medical chances are it is something like adult onset ADHD, which, in most cases, is pretty easy to treat.

I've noticed that, what changed him/her?
anyways. I agree, as soon as i can afford a doctor i will definitely go to one. If it is a medical problem that can be fixed, i would be more than happy with it. Then i can rejoin society in bitter and grinding arguments, instead of trying to say something in an argument and sounding like a 12 year old retarded kid that had been hit by a bus after frying his brain on ecstasy and alcohol.

If you live in the States, contact the State Department to find out about options. If it is life threatening, by the time you're in the hospital it is too late. They've been doing a lot of things to help people and I think preventive care is one hundred percent covered.
If you don't use drugs or anything the Red Cross does a full blood scan and sends results; however, they only care about things that could be transferred. There is a whole lot of stuff they will not notify a donor about.

Can morons join? Coz i'd like to join up too. I excel at dumbness, but I'd never be able to remember the name of the group because it has too many letters.
We could call ourselves "The Fuckups", although it sounds like a rock band.

You're absolutely right, I was responding to more of a metaphorical idea of what he was describing. However, if taken literally, it reminds me of my friend's symptoms that led to him being diagnosed with M.S.

We could start our own band - we'd get on stage and then just look at each other going "What were we going to sing again?"
I've got altzimers - I always meet new people *wink*
