Why does Heineken taste rediculously bad?
Being one of the most mass produced and drunk brews, I'd expect it not to taste like cardboard.

I actually love Heineken, i prefer Mickey's, still, a Heineken will make my day. But my freinds all drink Budweiser and Coors, they too hate Heineken. While i am quite the opposite. So i believe it is taste preference.

I like Hiney as well.
Maybe you just need to stick with darker brews, DDX?

As do I, but I seldom have the good fortune of having a bottle opener small enough.

That is why God invented the lighter, phone book, table edges, the wedding ring and other assorted items. No such thing as something being small enough, where there is a will there is a way.

True dat. I once took a chunk out aof a friend's desk with a bottle cap - it's every man for himself when there's no opener.

It's like everything that is mass produced. Once accountants get hold of products then they usually end up becoming a marketing concept with very little of the original idea behind it.

Heineken is shit and I've never met anyone that was even semi-serious about their alcohol that likes it.
Maybe people just love the little red star. It reminds them of Fidel and Chavez and all the other really supercool dictators that are like totally not dictators.

Sam Adams tastes like soapy bathwater to me. But I did like Heineken and Dos Equis when I drank, but as an "everyday" beer. When I was serious about beer I preferred Pilsner Urquell or a nice Doppelbock.
