I'll probably watch it, as I love fairytales. However modern retellings are ten-a-penny, and it's rare that I find one I think is good. The Company of Wolves springs immediately to mine - I hate hate HATE it when they stray too far from the stark simplicity of the early versions, and lose the magic by moving too far into naturalistic naval-gazing. I like Margaret Atwood, but her Bluebeard short story blew. I think it was called Bluebeard's Egg or something. but yeah, I thought it sucked, and summed up everything I dislike in retellings.

This movie looks like it's going to suck huge, floppy, sparkly-vampire, donkey dick.

Just sayin'.

I dont think this looks too crash hot. I mean nice idea I'm a big fairy tale fan, but as CuckooTuli said, film doesn't have the best history of good renderings of fairy tales.

Ever After was...something. I'm actually unsure whether that was a good film or not, the prince's package was too distracting.

So, if this movie has tight pants, it should be passable.

Ever After? I'll admit it's been years, but I remember that being an absolute abortion.

I have it in my mind that it was good. I wasn't sure this morning but right now I feel like I need to defend its honor to the death XD

The power of package.

I like fairytales, and I like Gary Oldman, which is why I will NOT be seeing this.

This is from the director of TWILIGHT. Did you people SEE Twilight? I could've done a better job directing that movie with my current experience level (none) and my head wrapped in cellophane.

Maybe Saya likes blatant attempts to cash in by making teenage girl's vaginas tingle, but I demand more from my cinema.

Namely, the ability to tell a coherent story.

Oh, there's a silver lining to everything, there's very few movies I regret seeing. Twilight made for an excellent Rifftrax.
