Thank You, I Suppose I Shouldn't Forgive Or Accept Anyone Seeing As How They Are Being. Acceptance Is Not A Change, Or A Life Changing Thing. It's All About Respect, And For The Gothic Culture As Far As I'm Concerned. I Don't Care What Sex Someone Is, Or Their Beliefs, I Wouldn't Judge. Okay JJ, I don't hate you and I don't hate what you have to say, I think some of the things that you have said in the thread are a little childish but it certainly isn't below the rest of the conversation. I do, however, hate the way that you type. I find it extremely unsightly, I think it does a lot to discredit any serious posts that you make, and I think it makes the tone of your posts seem a lot more childish. You may like your text that way but I'm just trying to let you know how it comes across to someone who only knows you by your posts.

I get that, but it is kind of like saying that it shouldn't matter what a person wears. Ideally we would all be judged on our intellect and our personality but the reality is that how you present yourself, words or appearance, colors people's opinions and I think that the way you type takes a lot of credibility and likability away from your words. To you it may be cheeky, cute, quirky, or fun but to a lot of people it seems to just come across as style over substance (and we tend to value substance around here, though not everyone does), distracting, or sophomoric. Take your last post in "dating a "non-goth"?", I know it was a serious post and it wasn't badly worded but because of the way that you typed it I can't help but seeing it as being juvenile and I have a hard time taking it seriously.

If you love typing that way then it wont make me hate you or think that you are an idiot but it will keep me from seeing you as a mature, intelligent adult and it makes me more likely to skip over your posts, exactly the same as when people insist on typing everything in an obnoxious color.
