Alan never specifically stated that you ARE a musician, just that you strike him as the type of person who would claim that they are one just because they OWN a musical instrument, regardless of whether or not they a) can play it and b) have any talent.

I'm not arguing against it you spoon! I was actually genuinely wondering if you had met someone like that. I've never met anyone who picked up a guitar and called themself a musician and if you haven't as well it was a bad example to yse. Maybe if you had said someone who picks up a football and calls themself a sportsman as that happens more.
I get touchy around music I guess being a musician and all
