If I wear my goal size, which is a four...the average length is usually fine. However sizes like 7 and 9 always fit really long. I like skirts as well. So much easier to deal with.

Is anyone dieting who needs an accountability partner?

I'm trying to drop 30 pounds, I am totally overweight for my height right now. I don't mind being a bit chubby but I'm not happy how I am. I'm a UK size 12 which as far as I am aware is a US 8 or thereabouts (according to the multi country sizing labels in my clothes anyway) but ideally, I want to be a UK 10.

I have all these things that I want to reward myself with if I get back down to 120. I want my belly button pierced since I won't be so insecure about my tumtums, I'm going to go shopping, and I want to get my whole body waxed.

I know I can do it, I've done it before, it's just getting the motivation to do it. That and the fact that since I was put on medication, I have found it really really hard to drop any weight at all

You want to wax everything? I think it would be unpleasant not to have any body hair, I like the parts with peach fuzz.

I walk everywhere I can, I jog when I get the time and I also play badminton when I can get someone to play with me. I know some of the weight is actually muscle cos I seem to build muscle really quickly so I have to be careful with the types of exercise I do and I also suspect that some of it is water retention because of my meds but there's some spots, like my stomach that are FAT and I don't like it.

Yeah, it is, I've learned how to dress so it doesn't show though. As hard as it was to give up, I eventually learned that skin tight PVC does little for those with a jiggly tummy

I wish so so badly that there was a way to spot reduce stomach fat but alas, no

I don't mind building muscle to be honest. Everyone needs muscle to some degree, and it's pretty hard for women to end up massive and Arnie-fied, without some serious supplements and/or Steroids in addition to doing a LOT of weights in combination with a competition diet.

I'm 5'5 and stocky in build, so I know I'm never going to be all lithe and floaty and so on. But I'll be content for the fat to sod off and to be strong and toned

Me too, me too. I can live with being a bit chubby, I mean, I know I'll never have a totally flat stomach now and that's fine, I just want to be a bit less jiggly, ya know?

I'm not particularly stocky as such, I don't have big shoulders and stuff. I do however, have big hips, so I'm totally bottom heavy.

Hmmm, I never considered control tights before, I'll have to give them a try. Being so short doesn't help, cos I have really muscular legs and big hips so I look big on the bottom. I also have a cracking pair of bingo wings.

Mine are better than they used to be. Christ, when I first lost all the weight, they were awful but they have got a lot better recently.

I've managed to avoid a fair bit of the saggy skin scenario by exercising and doing weights from Day one . Most people tend to diet first and exercise after which is the wrong way to go about things. Your layers of tissue are all attached from the bone & muscle up and the skin down, when you tighten and tone muscle you do the same (a little ) to the skin.

Yeah, I know. I always had pretty big arms anyway if I'm honest. I struggle with weights though as I have a chronic nerve problem in my left arm which means that lifting anything over a certain weight is absolute agony for me so it's hard to balance both arms if that makes sense?

Ahh I see. Well if you do weights just lift what you can without damaging yourself. Don't do too many reps per set and so on. Just common sense really.

I've been doing these for the past 2-3 weeks. I'm seeing mild improvement so I'll keep going

I may give that a go myself if it's not too painful for me. I don't mind my arms so much nowadays, they aren't as big as they used to be but I'd be a bit happier if I could slim that out just a little more.
