How do you. I'm Ami
I am currently a Computer Engineering student in sunny South Africa. Misunderstood by my peers, for the most part.
(Yes, am going to answer the prescribed questions in bullet-less point form. Enjoy )
I don't get much time to read but have recently enjoyed Sydney Sheldon and Thomas Harris' work.
One of the song's I'd like to have play at my wedding, is "We Are Always Searching" by I Am Ghost and at my funeral: "*****" by Slipknot.
I want my death to be a bloody murder in a park, next to a swing and a weaping willow or two.
My casket must be hand crafted from mahogany, varnished black with a silver plated engraving on the top, with a silk inner lining.
My favourite outfit (for the time being) is my black fairy dress, it makes me feel just like a little princess of darkness
One thing I miss about being a little kid, is drawing and colouring all day and then calling it (pre)SCHOOL.
I don't have a favourite band, in my opinion music is too wonderful for me to limit myself like that.
I joined because, firstly, to make new friends (hopefully low-maintenance) and secondly: I was bored and this was the first interesting site I found.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm a.... GIRL

Welcome, misunderstood princess of darkness. Do you read books? What books do you or would you read?

Thanks for the warm welcome
@ ape descendant:
Some of the books I like, are: "Fire" and "Graceling" though, for the life of me, I can't remember the author. "Tell me your dreams" by Sydney Sheldon. I am absolutely in love with Thomas Harris' Hannibal Lecter character.
@ Solumina:
Some of the bands I enjoy, are: Draconian, Avenged Sevenfold, Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Nirvana, the Beatles, The Black Dahlia Murder, Children of Bodom, Dark New Day, Echoes of Eternity, Eluveitie, Evanescence, Fokofpolisiekar, Green Day, HIM, I Am Ghost, In Flames,. KoRn, A Perfect Circle, etc. (The list is quite long)
And I am from Gauteng (That description covers home and res)
@ Versus:
Sun just about every single day of your life! I haven't even experienced a real winter. The worst part of all, is that I was born here, yet I'm not used to it. That is why I want out ASAP.
by the way: I like your picture

I'm jealous! I love the sun. I prefer kind of drab weather, but every winter that I spend makes me yearn for sunny days more and more. Is it really humid there?

My picture? I haven't posted one in a long time so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Sorry, I should have specified. Your profile pic...
It's not really that humid but it is warm most of the time. You could be wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of an average winter and not freeze (if that's any indication). Right now it's supposed to be the start of autumn but the weather is still scorching. When I woke up, about 2 hours ago it looked like it would be overcast; there is no cloud in sight anymore.
The sun is my mortal enemy, so I might be biased...

You're crazy! I would never spend a day in doors with that much sun!
No. I think I'm the one that's biased. I'm bitter because I spent last summer fighting some pretend army instead of enjoying the weather and going out. I turn into a complete hermit in the cold, too. I think it's likely that anything too hot would have me running for an air conditioner. How hot is it? :x

Ami, I agree with you. Too much sun is a bad thing. And I have lived in Kentucky all my life as well, and yet i cannot wait to escape this place as well.

Ok. I have seen a total of 2 goths on campus. That's sad. There is, however, a goth-ish shop 2 blocks away from res

Thinking he's a big shot artist and calling everyone he doesn't like pathetic. Try to make fun of him and watch the hilarity that ensues.
