Yes Korova, fire is often involved as well. That, or red-hot pokers... again, generally in rather sensitive parts of the anatomy.

Thanks It's nice to know some of the things you feel guilty of are natural. I guess we should all talk about this more often, we'd have much less frustrations that way.

I have only three "secrets" that I don't tell Joe Q. Public. One is a mistake I'm ashamed of, the other two are not worth the long explanation required to put them in the proper context.
One thing that few people know about me is that I ran my own online gothic clothing/jewelry/accessories shop for two and a half years. Giving it up was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

So...what did you call it BEFORE My Chemical Romance came out? I mean, if it's been with you your whole life, surely you named it before just one year ago.

*I cheat on my boyfriend. I don't just have sex with everyone, but I make out with most people that are up to it. The boyfriend is completely oblivious, even though I've repeatedly told him that I'm not monogamous.
*More on the boyfriend. I can't imagine ever breaking up with him (we've been together for almost three years) without feeling physical and mental pain, but sometimes I catch myself wishing he would die in an accident. I don't want to hurt either him or me by ending the relationship, but I don't think I can ever be happy with being in a relationship with anyone, I'm much too individualistic for that.
Well as long as you are happy, that's all that matters. Make sure that you are sated and content by all means.

Probably for the first time in my life, I'm starting to feel bad about my body.
I've always been a bit heavy. At the least, about 30 pounds overweight. And that's never bothered me. I've always thought of myself as tall, curvacious, statuesque. I loved my curves.
But now, I'm gaining weight like it's going out of style. I make jokes about my eating habits like "It takes a lot of hard work to keep this figure!" (usually said as I order another #2 at McDonalds). But when the day ends, and I undress for my shower, I look at myself in the mirror and I get worried about what I'm seeing. I'm not happy with my body, and no one knows, not even my boyfriend.
And the other secret part to this? I'm starting to have chest pains and dull aching where my heart is. It worries me, it definitly scares me, but whenever I want to go on a diet, I can't stick to it. I love the taste of food and I can't do it properly.
I've started thinking that when I have a heart attack, at the wonderful age of 26, I'll diet. But my head says "IF you survive the attack". It's scary. I know I'm killing myself and I can't stop.
I've never shared that with anyone before.

My Chemical Romance have been out since about 2002 I thought, but anyway. I called it 'Thing', but I always felt a bit mean so when I saw MCR for the first time and saw Mikey, well I thought "Hey now Thing can have a name" and felt all warm and fuzzy.

Al, my comment was very vague.
Auriane shouldn't feel guilty for the way that she thinks and feel. I think it's natural to 'consciously' view the world from a different persective as opposed to only viewing life as made only of pink lollipops.
This does not conclude that I support what Auriane has done.
Thinking and acting are two different things.
Thinking is harmless. It is the actions that we choose to take that be of harm.
I've fanaticised about cheating with married men and I think it would be fun. I used to feel guilty for thinking like that but not anymore. Though, I've never acted on this thought. I would however feel guilty which I should if I acted on this.
Does that make sense?

The business had grown too large for me to maintain on my own, but I had no money to hire help. I was an emotional wreck from my boyfriend's departure, which exacerbated my own depression. I had no support system, no friends. I tried to hang on, but it was just too much for me to handle.
rockandrose,
I didn't actually sell shoes in my shop. If I had, though, they probably would have been similar to these. I did sell clothes, jewelry, tights, cosmetics, hair dye, candles, decor... lots of gothy goodies. Ah, nostalgia!

Well, if it helps in ANY way, I'm a photographer and graphic designer. If you want to re-open your shop, I would be MORE than happy to help.

Yes, sexcellent. Same here. In fact, since I have a bit of a fear of burning to death, that is the number one torture I imagine inflicting on others.

Thanks, Korova and eight. Offers like that mean a lot to me.
I have considered re-opening under a somewhat different plan - selling my own designs and crafts instead of selling Lip Service, Shrine, Jeannie Nitro, etc - and on a smaller scale. I am thinking about having a booth at Convergence in April, just to see if people would be interested in my designs.

Well, if it helps I will be getting 500 watt photo flood lights soon (for portraits and what not), so with a white fill card and white sheet background material (which shouldn't be hard to get), I could do product pictures and such.
And I'm an advanced photoshop user (thanks to my teacher and biggest artistic influence).
Just let me know if you make any decisions on anything. I enjoy photography and it would be a way of advertising my skills to the public.

I didn't think you would condone that, I guess I see where you are coming from, but asside from her "death fantasy" she is partaking in that behaviour, that's very real (according to her).
If he is oblivious to her infidelity it's because she doesn't tell him the next day that she banged someone the night before. Among being cruel that's a health risk to him, is it not?
The guy loves her enough to trust her, and in return she wishes he'd get hit by a car and die.
You feel guilt, that's the difference.
