Mirror Mirror...classic loner-girl-gets-magic-powers-and-abuses-them-until-they-turn-on-her storyline. Confusing ending. But an alright waste of an hour and a half.

I had to watch it over and over again when it first came out because my little brother loved it, especially the turtle scene.

I just saw the 2011 movie version of "The girl with the Dragon Tattoo", found it to be quite interesting, and am looking forward to the sequel. In the meantime I think I'll watch the Swedish version of the film. Also whats with all the redoing of Swedish films these days? I've seen Let The Right One In(both versions), and now this.
On a side note I liked the original version of Let The Right One in better than the American version. I wasn't fond of that one song the kid sang about saving candy, damnable thing got stuck in my head worse than bubblegum.

My last is "kull the conqueror", epic trash! Awesome!
I'll see next two movies tomorrow, in the tents in a caping weekend, in the night:
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
+
Army of Darkness
I think the night and the fire will give the right atmosphere
Alchool too

Finding Nemo
The Hunger Games - eh, um, yep. It was okay - not as good as the book.

I just finished the first book. Never before have I used the word "cunt" to insult someone, until Katniss. Yet even though I wanted to slap her half the time, I had to keep reading. So, yeah it was good. But, I still stand on the position that Battle Royale was better.

Haven't read Battle royale, I'll put it on my to read list.
I got through the second and third books because I wanted to see what Collins was going to do with the Gale/Peeta thing, but the storyline reminded me of Running man/Gladiator fights, and I was a little 'oh not again" when I finished the series. But it was a page turner and I couldn't put the book down.
But Katniss had experienced a lot of trauma in her life, so that's why she was the way she was, and Collins did a great job to show Katniss' gradual fall into disassociation et al, particularly in the second and third books, where she just broke.

I'm watching a documentary called Mine, about how people had lost their dogs in hurricane Katrina and are trying to find them again. It's sad in some places, but really sweet in others.
Although some people who adopted dogs are trying to say "well it's my dog now, you left it." Seriously? These people could not take the dog or any animal with them. People literally could not take their animals into the shelter thing. In one case this older woman tried to stay in her home and die with her dog but rescue airlifted her out and that was that (I really hope she finds her dog in the end D: ).
This is so sad. I'm a sucker for animals.

The Hunger Games, I did not read the books and I thought the character development was kind of lacking and some things just didn't really make sense, I definitely felt like I had missed something, but Jake (who did read the books) didn't notice any of that. I thought the movie was okay, I don't feel like seeing it was a waste of money or anything, but I wasn't absolutely amazing, that being said Jake thoroughly enjoyed it (and the same is true of all my friend who loved the books) so I would recommend it to anyone who liked the books.

Back to the future. I am very disappointed after watching it again. I was promised flying cars, hover boards, and holographic sharks. Damn it Hollywood.
