A friend told us there will be a philosophy conference in Durango and that we should send her our transcripts so she sends them and they'll still give them a read.
But the notification day on whether we enter the conference or not is tomorrow, and the official deadline was ten days ago, I don't think they'll give a shit about an abstract sent one day before.

It's about Hegel's Master/Slave Narrative amended with Deleuzian language. Deleuze hated Hegel. I argue that not only is Deleuze clearly hegelian but the dialectic is best understood if amended with Deleuze's philosophy. The political implications of this are immense.

^ speaking of, I just came in here to report that whilst I was emptying and replacing the cat litter my cat decided to be a total chump and drop a steak right where the box should be, as if to say "work faster next time, bitchslave."

He also has magnificently smelly turds.

Well shit, it looks people all checked in despite the weather so we are at capacity so no getting put up at the resort, that sucks. Jake's lead said we could crash at her place but I really would rather not crash on her couch but if some other people need a place to crash we may just make a party out of this.

I turned in a job application a few days ago, and they actually called! The only bad part was that the person who called me decided to call when SHE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE PEOPLE TAKING CUSTOMERS ORDERS!!! So I couldn't make out what she was saying since there was a shitload of background noise. So far she never called back >( If you're going to call someone for an interview CALL WHEN IT ISN'T BUSY OR GO TO A QUIETER PLACE!
