I think that one's 'Again', IIRC. Mmmm, if only they'd show more aked men in music videos....I'm fine with tits, I like those, as well. They just need to even the odds.

So, I work with people who have terrible taste in music. Terrible. Katy Perry, Kesha, various rap songs about ladies' butts. We have one set of speakers, and if I leave them unattended we will probably wind up listening to that Firework song. Which makes me wish I were dead. But I've recently discovered that I can pacify them with bad late-90s to early-2000s pop songs. Which have at least been out long enough that I'm sort of numbed to them. So I made a TRL playlist (remember TRL?). I am going to add that song to my TRL playlist.

I hated TRL because they always played a bunch of shit I didn't like with a very few videos I did like interspersed throughout. Assholes!

I always considered hating TRL to be an important sign of intelligence. But still...anything is better than Katy Perry and Kesha. Anything at all. So it's a compromise I can live with.

It's not really your place to try to correct people about things you aren't necessarily educated or informed about. I know you believe yourself to be well educated on the topic, but I'm going to guess your actual books read and hours logged on research regarding ancestral health are pretty minimal. And I can't link you to peer-reviewed studies unless we both have access to the same academic journal databases... however, everything I linked for you was thoroughly documented, so all you have to do is scroll down to sources lists and search. But I got the impression you didn't want to read. So that's okay.

I've never been terribly interested in debating my lifestyle. It only happens when someone sitting near me (or reading...I guess? I've never had anyone get internet-mad about it before) while someone else is asking me questions and winds up getting defensive, even though I never respond to questions with "You should be like me!". It happened when I was vegan. It happens now. Seriously, you probably don't want to be that person. That person sorta sucks.
We know they ate bread because we found 20,000 year old bread. We don't know what their daily meal plan was. We do know they weren't dietitians who found the healthiest diet in the world. They idolized an obese woman, after all.

I have linked to peer reviewed studies, there are quite a few that are available online. I could not find a single thing that said beans are dangerous or that cholesterol isn't a concern. I looked on Google Scholar and World Cat, not a single study to say beans are going to give you diabetes, just some saying "hey, some beans have completely absolutely harmless lectin", and all foods have lectin, and beans are good for you.

I have no desire to read quackery. There's a lot out there, I can link you to sites by doctors that say HIV doesn't cause AIDS, fetus cry when you abort them and vaccines are killing our children.

What you have given me is books written by quacks, not science.

Okay. I have explained why I make the choices I do, and provided plenty of resources for you to learn more about the parts of my choices you don't understand. You stand behind that lipid hypothesis for as long as you want. Just ignore all the studies that have refuted it, and all the people having heart attacks eating margarine and canola oil, all the cultures full of healthy people eating plenty of saturated fat, and just cling for dear life. There cannot be discussion if there is no possibility for thought or growth. I've lived and studied your choices. You remain completely ignorant about mine. So, really, just... okay.

Actually I'm a major proponent of farm to table eating and I am on a first name basis with most of the farmers that I purchase goods from, some of whom have been willing to reward such loyal customers with rather substantial discounts or throw in freebies with large purchases (my favorite is when the bison guy throws in a couple of the more unusual cuts). I just know how to make the most of what I get.

Since we're (mostly) on the topic of music, just thought I'd share that I'm putting together my Major League Baseball songs play list. So far I have 28 songs. That includes at-bat songs from the regular season, miscellaneous songs featured during home games, and one so far from the post season coverage.

Please do. You could have every third page be king size papers, with the section for your own reflections made out of tobacco leaf blunt wraps. I would buy the living shit out of that!

I'm currently waiting for my fantastical girlfriend to arrive, so I can try to cheer her up with weed, a hot shower, a long massage, and lots and lots of hugs. My baby had a bad day
