I'm so used to the suspects in Criminal Minds to have "narcissistic tendencies" that I'm starting to get annoyed when they DON'T say it every episodes.

I'm here most nights, but your avatar reminds me of a leech's mouth, so it scares me off.

I'm buzzed now, very close to drunk, and feeling very chatty but it seems as though nobody's around here *sigh* I shall see if anyone worthy of my time is on facebook and look through streams on flickr.
We really should be more active on the gnet fb page you know. Being as how this forum lacks any sort of chat or IM. Better yet, someone should hook up a gnet IRC room or something. I know we have enough geeks hiding on here capable of something like that!
Also be forewarned, I am soon going to post my unofficial annual re-intro because October is the month of my joining.

October 24 is going to be my sixth year anniversary with gnet!
I think aside from Alan's old account, which I won't count, I have the most posts of anyone active. Kontan was giving me a run for my money though before he forgot his password.

K forgot his password? I assumed he got banned, LOL. I don't know what my exact join date was. Guess I could hunt through my old posts to see.

Ooh, thanks sweetheart! I didn't know we could actually do that! I can't find where the statistics tab is though. I'll take your word for it. Too bad the 13th isn't on a Friday this year
I'm craving a crumpet with tons of butter. I ate the last of the crumpets this morning. BOO!

I love my old testament course, but I'd rather do anything right now than to do my relatively easy (especially with the help I got) journal entry that is due tomorrow. /smallest violin.

I'm rather happy to report that the cheesecake I made tastes fantastic (even though it looks funny). The birthday girl had never tasted a homemade cheesecake before, only store bought, and she seemed pretty damn impressed.

I want homemade cheesecake.
Today my A&P Lecture teacher told us that skin color is not actually due to pigment in the skin, but the rate of degradation of melanin in the skin. The lighter the person, the faster the rate of degradation. The darker the person, the slower the rate of degradation. She said they normally don't teach people that until you get to University. So it seems like one of those things(to me) where the school system once again gets away with lying to people until they get into a higher level and them hit them with "HAHA! AMERIGO VESPUCCI REALLY DISCOVERED AMERICA! DUMBASSES! WE ARE PAID TO LIE TO YOU! HAHA!"
Why can't they just tell people the right shit in the first place?

Tomorrow or the next day I'm attempting to make cookies involving tea leaves. I found a recipe for it with good reviews. If I'm lucky, my shortbreadish pumpkin chai cookies will be amazing.

Found a pigeon yesterday that can't fly properly. I think another bird has attacked him , as he has a lot of primary wing feathers missing on both sides, and the middle of his tail is gone. No blood or wounds so I don't think it was a cat.
He can get about a foot of height but no more and he can't fly for very long as it tires him ( didn't take long to catch him ) . I've got him on the lawn in the rabbit run until his feathers grow back, then I'll take him back down the dingle and let him go near where I found him.
He's been walking about, and has gobbled half the food I put out for him ( and I put a good 3 handfulls of wild bird mix with added mealworms ,and a small amount of bread ) I figure if he wants to eat , then he wants to live ( no pining or apparant depression ) and doesn't seem too stressed at all by being in the run. I don't like to keep him "caged" such as he he is, but the neighbors cats would only chomp him since he can't get any height in flight.
I put a big plantpot on it's side and filled it with straw, so he can hide and keep warm and out of the wind. He's got a bit of log, his food and water, and I placed pots and bits of wood around the run to shelter it further from wind and prying cat eyes. We have a stone pigeon ornament that's ancient, but I placed that near the run, so as to make him feel slightly less alone ( wild wood pigeons often go about in pairs or small groups ). He goes in the pot at night quite happily, so he seems content enough .
His name while he's here, shall be.... BERTRAM.
