I can't remember the last time I had a crush on a boy but I seem to have developed one, shame his girlfriend isn't really my type and their relationship isn't as open as mine (and she seems to have developed a little crush on me) so no having fun with one and not the other.

I hate writing CVs. Hate it hate it hate it. There is no way of selling yourself that doesn't make you sound like a dickhead, and what's all the more demeaning is that most of the jobs I'm going for would undoubtedly make me want to claw all the skin off of my body inside of a week anyway even if I did get them. Which makes wanting to claw the skin off of my body the BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME.

Forklift truck training = FAILURE. Honeythorn style.

I'm proper shit at driving these damnable machines. I did warn the instructor that I can barely push an Asda trolley in a straight line, but he reckons he can save me from certain doom, or other people from certain death by being mowed down by yours truly.

On top of that my irritating cough that I've had for a couple of months ( I was beginning to think it was psychosomatic and all in my head ) has now turned into what I suspect may be a combination of mild Pharyngitis ( which I have had before so I know what it feels like ) and some variety of upper respiritory/chest infection.

The doctors has no free appointments available for at least 2 weeks straight. I'm now hoping someone will cancel late on a friday afternoon so I can leap in and show off my reddened swollen throat and attractive hacking wheeze

I`m sorry to hear your not well Honeythorn, hope your feeling better soon !!!. *HUGZ*

If you cant get an appointment with your GP, do you have an NHS walk in medical centre in your town where at least you can have someone have a look at you ?

Good luck with your forklift training, I`m sure you`ll get the hang of it !!!.

I'm really sorry to hear that, MissC. It's very cruel that you've had to go through all of this and I hope life takes a positive turn for you, soon.

Awww, damn. I'm sorry, hun. The only thing I could console myself with when my Grandmother passed away in 2009 was that she wasn't in pain any longer. She had the option of going before she became insensible and lost all of her faculties. Didn't make it easier to say goodbye, though.

I was going to come and write something really stupid I was angry about.
It means absolutely nothing in comparison to what you're going through MissC.
My deepest condolences.

I'm still pretty numb to be honest. Even though it was expected it was still shocking. There's been so many arrangements to make as well that I haven't had time to sit and think which is probably a good thing at this point.

Numb is good, for the moment. Once the arrangements are made and things have been settled you're probably gonna need a few days to yourself to process everything. That's how it was for me. Sorry, I feel like I'm really bad at this. I just want you to know that you're not alone. Things will start feeling better eventually. It will hurt, but the hurt lessens a bit over time.

Death is never easy, whether it's expected or not. Even if it is a choice to ease someone's suffering. That's one thing I've learned. Even if you know down to the last second that it's going to happen it still hits like a ton of bricks.

You expressed yourself and a way of grieving well, Wolfie.

This is a tough thing for me to talk about also, three years after my brother's passing. But it's gotten easier.

*more hugs*

Haven't you heard that "slut" is empowering now?

I got the blue screen of death last night while on skype with Versus and I just now got Ubuntu properly installed. I literally wasted an entire day trying to fix it, and its the only full day off I have this week, in which I have two papers due and an exam. FUCK.

I don't know what to say, except that I've been of about you and hoping that you have everything and everyone you need around to feel the least shitty you possibly could for now. Hope to see you back around these parts when you're feeling up to it, although of course I totally get how low on your list of priorities that must be at the moment.
