Ha, we had that discussion the other day. Going by the Old Testament, Satan is just doing his job basically, he's not really evil. And even though Adam and Eve supposedly gained knowledge of good and evil, King Solomon asking for the wisdom to be able to tell the difference between the two indicates that it is difficult for people to know what the right thing to do is.

Indeed. I just found the quote in a book about evil, and thought it was good enough to post in this thread. You have a great point, though.

well you have to believe the gospel, and romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God hath raised Jesus from the dead on the third day you will be saved.

so I dono about magic words but all you have to do is confess that Jesus is Lord, so will you just confess that Jesus is Lord? you can do that by saying/praying the sinners prayer.. well I may not stop I didn't agree that I would, also I would like to correct myself, I said once before that there are lies in life, I don't mean there are lies in the life that Jesus is because there is no lie in Jesus, what I meant was that there are lies in everyday life, so sorry I made a mistake, I wasn't thinking clearly

That's why I'm asking you to agree to stop talking about religion if I say the magic words. Do I have to say them in that exact order, or is it like a checklist thing where as long as I say each word at least once in my life they all add up to salvation?

I won't talk about religion I will promiss you that unless someone asks, but I will still talk about things though on this forum, and just say the sinners prayer word for word, and yes it has to be in order, and all at the same time, not over a period of time, and no it wont invoke satan if you say it backwards but it does nothing backwards. so will you pray / say the prayer of salvation?
