Suicidal bread.
Yes you read that correctly. On the way to work I have to cross a short railway bridge. And this morning, there in the pre dawn gloom sitting on the wall of the bridge, were two unsliced whole loaves of bread. One wholegrain one white. No packaging just bare bread covered in frost.
No one leaves bread lying about on bridges, that's just silly. The only logical explanation , is that these two loaves had made a suicide pact to shuffle off the bridge dough to dough , and shuck off the yeasty coil.
They were gone when I walked home so I can only conclude that either someone talked them out of it , and perhaps persuaded them that life goes on ,and they have great career opportunities as sandwiches with strange and exotic fillings, or as sexy hot buttery toast.............
Or they leaped to their doom and were shredded to crumbs by the 07:49 to Worcester as it came speeding through...
So sad, so sad....

Honeythorn, you made my day.
I love it when I see bizarre things like that, although sometimes I drive myself crazy wondering how they actually came about. Why on earth would someone give up perfectly good bread.
In related news, time for toast and tea. Thank the deities that I don't have to leave my house today, damn snow.

Envy. I had to walk to Queen's College this morning when it was really coming down.

Do you live far from mun?
I should have went to school, but I only had one class so I figured it wasn't worth it. It was kind of a piss off though, since I went to sleep early last night so I'd have the energy to study all day at school after my one class.
I really hate being out in the snow (unless I'm in the rare 'make a snowman and go sliding' mood). I barely want to leave my house in the winter anyway, but snow makes it that much worse.

Got some new clothes in a smaller size than I have been wearing so that made me happy. I'm currently deciding how to accesorise my new denim jacket. I have plenty of pin badges but I can't decide if I want to use them or not.

Finding an off evening to poke around in here and see what I've been missing. I never had this much homework back in elementary...

Cherish high school or middle school or whatever school you're in, believe me you'll miss it immensely once you're out.

Can't say I'm surprised, at least he stayed awake for around an hour or so.

Yeah, he's usually tired after work. I was so stoked that he was up for that though, its for a presentation I'm doing on the institutional racism of the draft during Vietnam, and his insight was pretty invaluable.
I swear I'm not using him for military knowledge XD

Snow! Humongous, beautiful flakes coming down steadily, which are, thankfully, not sticking to the roads yet as the sanding/salting hasn't been finished since the snow wasn't supposed to start until much later.

Great day with the family, today. My Mom came down to visit and isn't going back until Wednesday evening. When she comes back down from Arlington this summer she's bringing one of her cats for me to keep. I got to see my uncle and a few of my cousins today, one of whom has lived in Georgia for the past few years and I haven't seen in a long time.
Spent a while with the kids today. It was funny seeing me and Mom playing 'Ring Around the Roses' with them. New favourite game when I come over.

Waiting for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus to arrive from Verizon. Looking at NSFW pictures of busty women on the intrawebs to pass a few idle minutes. Thinking about what to eat and whether to crack open a Heineken Light or a Sam Adams ... decided on the Heineken. And playing with my dog ... he loves to chase the red laser light back and forth across the apartment.

Whoops! Got this thread confused with "What are you doing at this very moment?"

So you went with both the Heineken Light and a Sam Adams, huh?

Consecutively, not concurrently, but yes.

My dad drinks Sam Adams. He told me it's supposed to be Paul Revere on the label, but people thought "Paul Revere Beer" sounded dumb.
... aaaaaaaand you don't care.

Huh. Because it sure looks like the way I remember Sam Adams appearing.
