I'm going to go study now. So many tests. So far behind. Why can't I stop thinking about useless things and focus.

Maybe she's not a real friend. Because a real friend would understand you not having time to shave your legs and a real friend would say "You go and grab life by both hands and shake the living crap out of it and enjoy every second."

Oh and you are procrastinating, just like I am because I'm going to have to scrap 70,000+ words I've written on a new story and start from scratch, because I'm reworking the entire thing - which just feels like a whole lot of hard work right now, and I'm too friggin' over everything to be assed.

There are times when my shaving my legs actually makes the headlines in this house. I'll show my shaved legs to Mr bat and he'll say something like "Well I was getting pretty close to calling in the loggers to deforest those legs of yours."

She is will kind of still be working with the resort, just as a vendor, so I won't see her but she will still see my boss and the GM on a fairly regular basis so I'd still rather her not seeing work rants.

Oooooo yeah that's always great fun. Thankfully I'm past the point of somewhat tactful nervous laughter when Jake's family does that, I've gotten to the point where I can respond with a "HAHAHA no" and his mom and grandmother just make a pouty face.

You do realise that the only reason parents say to their children "So when are you goign to have children?" is because the parents want to see their children go through the torture of raising children like the aforementioned parents did.

I'll often be talking about something to the MIL and then say "Fuck, you did that 5 times?" to which she'll follow with a "Oh you are just getting it now then?"

The little tackers are so cute, until they wake you every 20 minutes during the night for three nights in a row, and then you find yourself in the middle of the supermarket unable to remember how you got there (because you are so friggin' tired).

So when are you all going to have children?

I'm really annoyed that I can't find anybody to talk about stuff with. Specialty forums are full of group think and idiots. G.net is my last bastion of reason, but you guys don't share an enthusiasm for some of the same things that I do. Which is fine with me, but I don't know where else to look.

I know that a lot of people would love to have a job where they can goof off and not have any responsibility but the novelty of such a job really does quickly disappear. I want to do something, to at least have some small challenge, I don't want the height of my productivity for the day to be reading news articles instead of looking at cake wrecks.

I hate to say it but our country doesn't have a good history of paying anything more than lip service to it's veterans. Just look at the aftermath of WWI or all the later war veterans. Though I think they did a decent job after the civil war, one of the original vet hospitals here in Milwaukee is a testament to that.

My friend doesn't have to pay for vehicle registration or new plates for the rest of his life because he has a purple heart. Pretty sweet to me. XD
