Doing nothing after high school (graduate of 2009) is great when you think about not having to wake up early and all that, but when you realize that life isn't doing you any favors by not letting you get a job or anything (no one will hire me), then it's pretty boring. Well at least I have plenty of time to work on my art and stories, but even that's backfiring because I can't get inspired anymore, not like I use to when I was in school. How weird.

I fell asleep on the lounge for 20 minutes, became a mosh pit for babybat, and there was a pile of sand in the middle of the dining table, along with a huge scratch down the side. The cats are refusing to explain what happened. That's the last time I leave them to babysit.

I had a really vivid dream last night involving Saya. I was feeling really sad and mopy so she made me tea and oatmeal raisin cookies to cheer me up, it was actually pretty darn comforting and those were the best oatmeal raisin cookies ever.

Unfortunately Jake started boot camp yesterday and, while I'm not exactly stressed about sex, I missing him bunches, thankfully I have wine and cupcakes which seem to be helping a bit. Also unfortunate is the fact that, at least around here, spring break is set by the individual counties and about half of Va is this week and the other half is next week.

That explains the added stress. I used to miss MrBat a lot when he went away, then I got used to it... although we did try to have phone sex one and it didn't last long...

I'm actually being fairly productive, doing laundry, cleaning, and whatnot, just popping on here between tasks (plus I look like a complete mess) so I don't think I'm up for skyping tonight, that and as tired as I am I don't think I'd be much fun to chat with.

We've done video chat discussions way past tired, they were still quite fun.

I'm going to build some muscles with these new towels, they weigh about 5lbs each, which I know isn't a lot but I'll go through about 300 in a shift, this includes hauling them from the clean bin to the desk, folding them, moving stacks as needed (into/out of cabinets as we only have enough space to keep about 30 on the desk at a time), handing them out, and then hauling the wet ones (which weigh about 15lbs) out to the dirty bin.

13 years ago today, I walked out on my abusive ex and went out into the great unknown.

Can still remember it like it was yesterday... him raising his fist at me, making me tell him I loved him before he called me a fucking bitch... and left for work... all because I hadn't got out of bed to have breakfast with him at 5am - I was exhausted and didn't have to start uni until 10... and wanted a sleep in...

no wonder I was up at 2am unable to sleep.
