There's a Snake in my Boot
Because surveys are easier than rambling
1. What do you do? I'm a hobby artist who draws for a living
2. Where are you from? Louisiana
3. Who is your favorite author? Tie between Poe and Huxley
4. What are your favorite films? I'm so cliché...Beetlejuice and The Addam's Family..... *coughAvengerscough*
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? Dark music to party too. Screw formal, let's get hectic.
6. At your funeral? Highway to Hell, please
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? In the most bizarre way possible. I could come up with some things but I like it when fate is creative.
8. What kind of casket would you want? Old beaten up wooden box.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? Nothing of mine so far. Stompy boots, long-sleeved black tee and plaid capris. *sigh* my dream outfit
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? No adult responsibilities
11. What's your favorite band? Ooh that's a tough one.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? So far only high school. I have plans on going to college for art.
13. Why did you join? To expose myself to more of the gothic subculture and community, of course.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Frankly, I don't see why this question is important. But if you all must know, I'm genderqueer and quite happy with it. I would prefer neutral pronouns such as they, them, you know something easy. If not then masculine pronouns will do the trick just fine.

Yeah, I really wish the question was changed to "preferred gender pronoun" or something like that. Welcome!

Hey. Nice to meet you. I'm kinda curious about your art. What do you draw?
Also, I'll try to keep it neutral for you. Please remind me if I forget.

I'm not sure what those pieces remind me of. It's a little frustrating.

Hai and welcome! Do you mind 've' as a gender-neutral pronoun?

Thank you, shadowynne.
You can use whichever gender-neutral pronouns you'd like, though to make it easy I take a particular liking to 'they' and 'them' :>

That's fine. However, it doesn't make sense if I refer to you (a single person) as ''they'' or ''them''.

Actually: used with an indefinite singular antecedent in place of the definite masculine he or the definite feminine she.

There are singular gender neutral pronouns in English, they're new so it hasn't been quite settled as to which ones will be widely used. Personally, I like Zie and Zir. I words that begin with 'z'.

I like ''ve'' but now that you mentioned it, ''zie'' and ''zir'' have a zing to it, ya know?
