Cracked used to have some good writers but I haven't seen anything from them that was particularly worth reading in quite a while.

Just when I finished painting my skulls (well one side of them anyway) it started raining outside so I had to close all the windows. The skulls are taking forever to dry because the nice warm sunbeam they were in is gone and, more importantly, the whole apartment smells like paint.

Ugh, I know how that goes, the only thing worse is when you've got a couple coats of varnish on and have to bring it in.. pheeew!

The skulls turned out rather well but the ghosts I used are stuck to the newspaper they dried on, I've never had this problem in the past but I used a new fabric stiffener and it is essentially glue. I don't have the energy to fight with them now but I'm hoping that I can get it to release the paper if I dampen it, it will probably stick to whatever I then put it on to dry but maybe if I use and old towel or something I can just pull it off. Never using this stuff again.

Fuck this god damn fabric stiffener, I just had to cut off the bottoms of my ghosts. They looked so billowy and ethereal but the newspaper (that just would not come off not matter what I tried) kind of ruined the awesomeness. Jake keeps insisting that they look really good but that's either because he didn't see them before I had to go at them with the scissors or he is lying to make me feel better, maybe a little of both either way I still hate them and this is what I get for trying to save $0.50.

I hate it when TV networks make a last minute schedule change that the DVR can't catch.

I actually woke up for some reason before at least 10am(I'm not an early morning person at all) and thought I would watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice on Cartoon Network, but no. I turn the TV on to find some bullshit cartoons that I hate in its place. No.Fucking.Warning.At.All.

I waited all week to see those episodes(it's a new season) and I can't watch it on Youtube because they're pissy about deleting leaked episodes. So I have no choice but to watch them the old fashioned way. Cartoon Network has been doing this bullshit for years, but this is the worst they have been about it.

I'm having a fucking nerd rage right now!

Some Asatru peeps are racist but not all. The whole aryan thing isn't a part of Astatru that shit's Indian and any fucker worth their salt (obviously not the fucks doing fact checking for the Nazis) knows that the Aryans weren't germanic people but people from around India. Last time I checked Asatru and Odinism were damned near interchangeableish.. depending on which one of the Asir one jerked off to.

And yeah Versus, fuck mormonism.. Mormonsim as a religion is offically way more racist as Asatru. Difference being that some racists use the old Nordic myths as an excuse to be racist pigs and Mormonism where the racism is written right in. FUCK dealing with the racism in my own family is enough to make me want to vomit.. why does this shit have to be a part of me like this. I want the world to be better.

Not really interchangable, although let's face it a lot of neopagans are fairly eclectic and don't care. Odinism was racist in origin and continuing today, and also puts much more emphasis on Odin, hence the name. Folkish Asatru is very specifically racist (although they say they are "racialized" and not racist, but black people are not welcome.) And Odinists will also claim this, but its origin and legacy is still very racist.

Like I said, Icelandic Asatru is Asatru which concentrates on the religion rather than the racial heritage stuff, and of course there's general Germanic neopaganism which is very eclectic and can't be generalized about.

Anyway, not all Nazis were Christian, and Christianity is not in and of its self white supremist, and Christians at the time were quick to point out (and quick to be killed or deported) that Jesus was Jewish. Odinism is explicitly racist in its origin and continuing today with its no blacks policy.
