i skip lunch during the week a lot because i'm usually just too busy.
one day a couple of weeks ago, our receptionist, meka, told me, "girl, you'd better start eating or else you're gonna lose that booty that makes you look like a sistah!"
i told her she didn't need to worry, because no matter what i weigh, my ass ALWAYS stays the same.

We are smart enough to realise that we don't need to use 'proper' English, and that our energy saved from shortening words can be used towards more productive things. I.E., Cronulla- by the way anyone who supports those idiots should be BURNT

I find it quite disturbing when I'm conforted by an Aussie who's speaks mainly speaks the language of Aussie slang.
It's like "G'day mate, how ya goin' sheila? Come join us blokes for a barbie and a smoko."
Have you noticed that a lot of Aussie construction workers speak with so much slang, it usually shows how literate they are.
I think slang used every now and then is ok, but used as a language is horrible.

To be honest I couldn't fit into any of my nicer clothing and I didn't have the time to make/modify something before I went out. But I got stared at just as much as I ever do.
I feel shame! But I did bring home a very hot girl, so I can console myself with that, at least.
