Ashley, I wouldn't want to live through an excruciating terminal illness either. Though I think that bullets are kind of messy and gross, I'm hoping that euthanasia for humans is more accepted by the time I'd need it, that way they can give me the same dignity we allow for beloved pets.

Saya, tell Alberta to quit sending their crappy cold to us. I know you guys have some sort of weird Northern Network or something.

Ugh. I am in shit loads of pain right now. I've got CRPS in my left arm which causes me no end of pain and problems. One of the problems is that it hurts me to lay flat on my back, my consultant suspects I have further nerve damage in my neck and spine and so I was sent today (MY DAMN BIRTHDAY) for an MRI scan on said areas. I had to lay perfectly still, flat on my back for almost an hour and it's left me in agony. UGH.

Does anyone have some good home remedies for canker sores. Something I ate caused me to get 4 at the same damn time and it's making my whole freaking head hurt. I've used drugstore numbing gel, but it wears off too fast.

You go girl..although remember to drink plenty of fluids. Hardcore gardening can lead to dehydration.

The problem though Fruitbat is ape descendant wants positive temps and I want negative temps as do you. I think our best bet would be for us to donate +20F each, bringing me to +20F and you to +80F during the day.

People in this world can be truly disgusting.

A great friend of mine is barely scrounging by on $400 a month, but her schmuck of a boyfriend that she lives with who makes about four times as much as she does is so terrible with his finances that he steals out of her purse when he thinks she's sleeping. He can't keep gas in his car, can't pick up after himself and doesn't even have the proper decency to take down naked pictures off of his walls when her ten year old daughter is over for visitations.

This guy is a waste of oxygen.

I decided to check my credit report today and what do I see but an account with Verizon that is now in collection. Only I closed out my account with Verizon before I moved here, it was paid in full, and everything was all good. I've never seen nor heard from them since so I'm pretty fucking confused and unhappy about this. I'm really not even sure how to go about disputing it since it is a valid account but I have no idea what I supposedly owe them money for, I guess I just proceed as if it is an unauthorized charge? Or is there something special that you need to do if you have never been notified of the debt? Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Ugh I do not need this headache right now.

I'd check with Verizon and get a basic idea of what's going on with it.

It is my old account but with the address that we started at, not the one we transferred to for the last year of our service. Unfortunately since it has been sent to collection Verizon won't talk to me but I don't have a way to contact the collection agency or even find out what company owns the debt so it looks like I'm stuck just disputing it with the credit reporting agencies for now.

When I worked with Rogers I'd get calls all the time from people confused that they were sent to collections, but for us, when accounts were sold to collections, all our info was purged or at least is not accessible to most CSRs. I do believe the only way to really track it down is if the credit bureau can help or until the collection agency tracks you down themselves, which sucks. And since you're only dealing with the collection agency, I don't think you can really dispute the charge unless you kept documentation that the account was level when you cancelled.

The fact that a person told you to stop contacting them and that you continued to do it is "out of the way". IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU TO LEAVE THEM ALONE YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO LEAVE THEM ALONE.
