Her make-up isn't even goth-like. She has had the same signature look for years, it is individualistic compared to a lot the other celebrities. Her look is meant to be the "sex kitten" look. I personally can't see it. Plus, her skin texture isn't exactly a baby's bottom's best friend.
She promoted Viva Glam V lipstick campaign, and hence her signature look (sex kitten make-up) was also being promoted. In a way, her look resembles more of a fusion of Marilyn Monroe and a Pornstar chick.

I've got two tubes, so what d'you think? One tube is for mixing with red to get different shades of bloodred; the other, I wear alone.

No. I think just wearing black nail varnish and black liquid eyeliner makes you look more like a punk than a Goth. I used to get passed over as a punk before I started wearing black lipstick then people realised who I really was. It also adds attitude to your gothic look.

Black lipstick is great as long as it is applied carefully. The darker the colour the more you have to take care that it doesn't unintentionally blurred.

I think black lipstick should only be used on those who have the perfect outfit to go with it, and pale, flawless skin. Otherwise it looks weird to me.
Instead of black, I found myself this discontinued Avon shade of a dark purple called "Decadence." How goth is that shit?

It's really hard to pull of black lipstick. It just looks korny on some people. I think it works really well with pale skin. I'm just not a fan of lipstick.. I don't apply it all that well. I really like the look of red lipstick though.

Wow, how has the topic of black lipstick gotten to be 4 pages long....? We have way too much free time on our hands. I guess it's all the time normal people spend in the tanning beds that we're wasting on this subject. Eh, continue on with the mindlessness, it's quite the amusing topic.

Hah, don't you just love it when they give makeup the most vague names ever? I have a lipstick called "Three French Hens."

I like the idea of lipstick with odd names. It's way more appealing than lipstick with boring names like "ruby red" or "pale pink". Creativity wins me over.

I've only use it once, and it was for a photo shot... never again... disgusting with my white pinkish skin and my green olive eyes.

I own a really nasty cheap glossy one that fades away in 15 minutes. The last time I actually used it was when I went to a fancy dress party as the ghost from "Woman In Black".If I do want colour on my lips I usually blot a bit of bright red on to make them look 'naturally' red.Plus black makes your teeth look really yellow & disgusting (unless your teeth are perfectly white)

Well, i'm very pale in color, and i've got spotless skin...so I guess both reds and blacks suit me...but I only seem to stick to reds, mostly dark red. Oh well! All the same to me, but i've seen this one guy with black lippie on...oooo! he looked gorgeous !

I'll wear it once in a while, but only if I wake up at like four and feel hyper enough to dig through my very messy bathroom drawer to find a makeup brush then figure out where I put the black lipstick then spend a good hour carefully putting it on, realizing I did so horibly and starting over agian multiple times. But that only happens when I'm bored, and fell asleep early the night before.

I tend to stick to bright red or dark purple but will branch out into black occasionally. My opinion on this wavers-sometimes I think it look great, sometimes I think it looks a bit tryhard.

I love putting black lipstick on , but on one hand, I'd rather avoid using it everywhere. People hear tend to stare, criticize, make faces and talk.. alot. Plus, my mom would freak out! On the other hand, I don't mind putting some in concerts.

I like to put black lipstick and sometimes do,but I prefer putting dark red or dark purple on since black doesn't always look good.

I've never really done the black lipstick thing. I don't have anything against it. If it looks good on you, go for it. I prefer the really deep reds. I did have a really great dark purple that was nearly black, but it was one of those limited edition colors that I suppose didn't sell very well. I liked it because it was almost black, but had more depth to it. I only ever wore it when I toned down my eye makeup.

You know what... I found out I look like shit in dark shades of lippie >.>... so I just wear lipgloss. When I fell like looking like I'm out of a comic book I wear this shade that I got as a freel sample at Kohl's called "American Beauty" or something like that hee hee...
But I love seeing other people with dark lipstick shades. It doesn't matter what color as long as it looks good on the person ^^
KeltikAon, I understnad what you mean about wearing it when you have toned down eye makeup... too much makeup all over tends to just look... blah.
