Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Mozart- Symphony No. 25 in G minor
The English Concert Conducted by Trevor Pinnock
This version is played on authentic period instruments and sounds like it did back in Mozart's day.Better than modern instrument interpretentions.

The Goon Show.
One of the most important radio series of all time. Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe collaborated during the fifties on a madcap, anarchic comedy show that went on to influence Monty Python and Whoops alone knows how many other comedy legends.

Come to Daddy by Aphex Twin. Always fond of a bit of electronic music while coding, and I usually end up either putting on Aphex Twin or Gary Numan.

Nickelback: Animals.
Yes, Nickelback. I must add that this is a GOOD song. The lyrics aren't all that great, but it really rocks.

Hurry on Sundown by Hawkwind. The first track on the first album. A year or two before Lemmy turned up and the band metamorphosed into the loudest space-rock band out there.
It shows. This sounds like one of Dave Brock busking. Which, er, it is.
