That's good. I don't think I really know how to do Tinychat, I figure next time one is on I'll pull it up on Google and learn.

Any day of the week works for me but if it is a weekend I'll need to know more than an hour in advance. Also I'm currently dying so no tiny chat for at least a few days.

A lot of people can't seem to grasp that food addiction is a real thing.
I have spent most of my life being heavily obese with society telling me it's my own fault because I can "just stop eating burgers and eat a fucking apple."
This annoys me to no end. My food problem wasn't always unhealthy junkfood - it could be regular, good-for-your-health food in extreme amounts.
If drug addiction, alcohol addiction, cigarette addiction and other such addictions are accepted to be real, why can't people understand that food addiction is just as real? The same centers in the brain are stimulated when a food addict eats as when a drug addict takes drugs. Obviously, drug addictions are harder to shake, but it is the same idea.
In the end, I beat my food addiction. But I still feel it lurking, and if I don't watch out, I'll get fat again.
But having society tell you that it's your own fault and making a joke out of a real problem doesn't exactly help morale or willpower.

Oh it is a real problem, and that's why a huge number of diets don't work, because while you temporarily reduce the calorie intake, peeps don't treat the underlying cause and food addiction is usually replaced by another addiction.
Well done TR for taming your food addiction. So proud.
Yes I'm back in town. One night only... actually only a few moments. Work is insanely busy, life is insanely busy. But guess what? We are packing up our belongings and going on the wallaby, or around the block. So excited. Will be awesome fun.

But we could cheer you up! You know if we ever all get sick at once (and I know this has happened before, I remember at one point everyone was complaining about being sick in the rant thread) it would be pretty funny.
So since the fire I've been noticing a lot more bugs in the house and I haven't been sleeping as much. I'm really glad I'm moving in two weeks, because this is my life:

I've wanted to come back and be active many times in the past, but I always feel like I have nothing interesting to add.

I'm about darling but just not on these forums...
I'm on the beauty forums, asking "How do I just wax the front of my legs, to improve my aerodynamics?"
Oh dear, it's late. Best get my beauty sleep. I'll put my alarm on for 10 years from now and see if that makes a difference.

Saya: I feel the same way as it so happens :P If I were to only post on here when I felt I had something meaningful or insightful to add, I would have a post count of.... 5. Maybe 6.

I have had a note on our common board here in my block for weeks now, asking if we could get together one day and clear out things from the storage room because it was dangerous to go in there now, and the fuse box is at the far end.
No replies.
Today came the day where I had to use the fuse box. I had to do a small gymnastic excercise to get there and get out again. The whole damned place looks like the storage room of a syndicate of house thieves....

I have the same problem with my roommates Timeless. What I decided to do is remove one item each garbage day. Been at it for about a year and the garage is easier to navigate through now.

I have a more aggressive strategy in mind. Because most of the stuff is obviously left behind by previous residents combined with the fact that the current state of things is in direct violation with the set of rules, I am going to call the janitor tomorrow and tell them that if they won't come do something about it, I am going to empty the whole thing out and put everything by the dumpsters.
I complained to the janitor before, and it was his recommendation to handle it with the other tenants. I wrote an e-mail about it last week, and now i had enough.
The switchbox HAS to be accessible. Also, I should be able to use one of the storage lockers as one is designated to my appartment, but all eight are filled up, so I am also going to empty out one of those.
I peeked in the ones without lock, and in one of them, two older flatscreens were just lying, casually tossed in there along with a bike and tons of trash.
I swear, I heard the entire storage room growl and move.

That's actually a pretty good idea. You should check to see if some of that stuff is still in working order so you can sell it. It's pretty amazing the kind of money you can make off of other people's junk.
