I can't follow the news about the Zimmerman trial at all because it just makes me so angry that there's any controversy about it at all.

Sadly, there are other people rooting for Zimmerman. What baffles me is the fact that his defense is, "I was getting my ass kicked, so I shot him. But it was self defense."

That would annoy me as well Jonathan, I've lost count of how many times I've worn a band t-shirt and someone my age has no clue who the band is.

One thing that initially really annoyed me re: this Zimmerman trial is that initially all the picture of Trayvon were from when he was like, 8 years old. There are current pictures available, so what's that about? To me it feels like someone basically said, "Well, everyone agrees that young black males in backwards baseball caps are all dangerous criminals, and that people should shoot them on sight. Let's go with the cute little kid picture instead." How in the world do people expect to address racial tensions if we cannot even acknowledge that maybe someone could dress in a way we might associate with negative stereotypes, and STILL be a decent person who is given a fair trial?

Ok, here's my whining. Been crazy busy and realised afterwards it wasn't really worth all the stress and sleepless nights. Also, I cancelled all my plans to see a friend today (we had been planning it for 2 weeks) and NOW he tells me that he's feeling this and that and it might ruin our friendship so he doesn't want to meet up today. I have to say, I respect his honesty, I just wish he could have told me a wee bit earlier... -_- Oh, and I'm still coughing like a Victorian chimney sweeper (got sick last weekend).

It's not really a rant, but anyways..

I've been compulsively obsessing over killing myself for the last couple of weeks. My therapist knows about it (and she is wonderful), and we have a contingency plan for what to do if I can't cope with it anymore.

I'm not going to do anything silly.

I'm just exhausted from thinking about it all of the time.

The thought crosses my mind a lot or some variation of my life ending. I dunno. It sucks. :-/ I hate it for you. I guess I just wish that I didn't look at life as just one big road of dread so damned much.

Yep. Fucked. I'm glad you're feeling better and hope Solumina is as well. Don't claim to know how it is for you, but right now clinical depression is kicking my arse and I'm experiencing some of the similar looped thoughts.

I'm too mad to sleep, the schedule was put out and since our only full time person asked to have her hours cut back, I do have more hours, but this other girl got full time hours. She's lazy as fuck, has awful stats on the cash and badmouths our prices right in front of customers. She lives at home with her mom who pays for everything except the gas in her car, and bitches and whines all the time about how her mother has the gall to ask her to do simple things like laundry.

Meanwhile another girl who is way more productive and way easier to get along with has absolutely no hours at all. I suspect this has to do with who the supervisor personally likes.

My whining:
- I'm falling in love with a gorgeous (not only appearance, he's intelligent and funny too) guy who probably doesn't like me back. I just hate that feeling, it's keeping me awake at night.
- +38 degrees Celsius outside and about +50 C in my room is way too fucking hot. Especially when I'm used to Swedish temperatures.
- Had to get rid of a friend last night because all of a sudden he turned out to be a crazy religious fanatic, trying to convert me and telling me I'm "sick in the head" because I'm "into those dark, gothic entities" (wtf?!) and that I'm "too pretty to be so morbid". What the actual fuck?! What gothic entities? Morbid? Jesus fucking wept. Oh yeah, and apparently I'm a sadist too because I'm "into those dark, destructive gothic entities like satin". o_O (yes, "satin". he probably meant "satan") ...all I mentioned to get this started was that I was in the mood to watch a good vampire film... -_- I'm not that upset over losing someone I thought was a friend, it's just that discussions with reasoning like this is pissing me off.
