Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

The Birds are Spies, They Report to the Trees - Pity You, Pity Me
Nine times out of ten, a band with a name as long as this is an emo band. This is one of the more obscure ones, with lots of screaming, spoken passages and shabby production.
Pretty good, but no I Hate Myself.

Jean-Michel Jarre - Equinoxe 1
This is making me feel nostalgic! I used to listen to nothing but Jarre when I was a kid.

Pitseleh, my man, you're beyond ecletic. You're downright squizzo.

Hehehe... "squizzo". I have no clue what that means, but it made me laugh. Nice word.
Now listening to something not so spastic and abrasive...

Punishing hardcore to get the blood boiling. My musical tastes are not very goth, I know.

From the dictionary:
min·u·et - A slow, stately pattern dance in 3/4 time for groups of couples, originating in 17th-century France.
The very definition of Pantera. Right...

I love Antony. I cried so hard the first time I heard "I Am A Bird Now". It was like a religious experience. Amazing album.
Listening to Burzum - Det Som En Gang Var (What Once Was)
Classic depressive black metal. Great music, made by a not-so-great guy. (In case you don't know, Varg Vikernes, church-burner, murderer and crazy nazi, now in jail.)
