I havent really done anything new with photoshop in months so this is kind of elementary...

OMG... that's elementary?? Your color technic is damn near perfect, I'd give anything to be able to use photoshop to such a strong degree. If you don't mind me asking where did you learn?

In 2003 I got my hands on a copy of photoshop 7.0. It confused the hell outta me so i dropped it for about a year. in june of last year i had the beginning of a horrid case of insomnia so I started farting around with it until I figured out what the hell I was doing.
I would set my mind to doing something specific(ir wax impressions, tendrils, etc) but sometimes I'd just not know what the hell was going on. When I would reach a point where I coudnt figure something out I'd find a tutorial online and stay with it until I figured it out. I'm just too damned stubborn to let a program get the better of me. From june until november of last year I was only sleeping 4 hours a night so I had lots of time on my hands.
Short story long..I'm self taught but I'd really love to take a class that could help take me to the "next level".

Meta, that's a damned good charcoal!! I suck at charcoal, but I still have it in there with my pencils. I still dream about being able to do 'something' with it, but never take the time to practice between working, two kids, sewing and the internet, I never get anything done. Right now, I'm on cloud nine!! I finally found some modeling paste and some matte varnish, a new brush and some new red beads. All paid for by my Hobby Lobby giftcard!!! The modeling paste is for a doll I've been waiting to finish for a solid year, now. I rooted him with tiny purple and black braids just in front(kinda like a half mohawk, pix soon) and I could never find the modeling paste at my craft store to cover the holes dotting the rest of 'his' head. 'He's' a transgendered (formerly female fashion) doll. I can't wait to take some pix!!!!

I've never been much good with modeling...though I've made my attempts at clay. All I seem to be able to make is hands...and pianos. It's really sad.
