Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

No way cutie! I used to listen to loads of Bauhaus, Siouxsie and Sisters when I joined here. Thing is, I kinda had my most intense "goth-period" before I found this place. I mean 'period' as in moping-in-my-room-listening-to-the-Cure-really-loud "period", not bats-and-cobwebs-coming-out-of-my-peehole "period"... Heheh.
But sadly there aren't really all that many good goth-bands, so naturally I had to go looking for interesting, dark music in other genres.
Right now, I'm moping in my room listening to Jesu really loud. Ruined, is the song, and I'm halfway through its 20-minute length. Fantastic stuff.

Euthanasia - Decoded Feedback
DF is a great electronic band. Their music sounds great. I wish the DJ at The Church would play their music.

Down to Rest - O'death.
Dark Country. Yes, you heard, creepy morose country/folk. Go listen : http://www.myspace.com/odeath and then tell me you won't demand "Down to rest" played for your funeral procession.

"I Predict a Riot" by the Kaiser Chiefs. Damnably catchy, if you ask me.

The Fucking Champs - Thor Is Like Immortal
No shit! You guys out there who like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and other NWOBHM bands should definitely check out these guys. Kick-ass instru-metal with awesome twin-guitar riff harmonics. Totally retro, but still fresh as hell.
