Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I think you meant to start a new thread? Probably not in Fashion, though...........
Hhmmmm, do we have a board dedicated to drugs and the hazards thereof?

I apologize... I should have thought before I wrote... I usually do I was just worried.
And no.. fashion was not the place to do it... maybe "Whining" would've been better.. I'll pay more attention next time.. stressed or no.

I want my friend in techno art to make me a shirt that says:
"Excuse me, what?"
...just because.

okay, the the "Like Manson, Korn or slipknot?" one, I find that very offensive, I mean really. music is music, how does one person's musical preference make them a poser?

I thought of this earlier.
I think that having a shirt with a swing on it that says "I go both ways" would be cute.

They have those, already. It's a girl on a swing and it says, "I swing both ways."
And the kind of music you listen to does make a difference. I would find it hard to think of someone as 'goth' that listened to Highland Heights, Blink 182(?) or some such.

hmmm, well, I listen to abit of techno, and if I'm correct in memory, Circle V listens to classical a little bit. Does that make both of us poseurs? I believe its the mentality that makes you goth not your preferance of music...

No Xng!! You are the BIGGEST posuer evAR!!
I think this should probably be moved, but I think musical preference does indeed make you "more or less" goth. Sorry guys, if someone hasn't heard of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, The Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, I'll tend to look at them as outsiders. Understanding the sub-culture is delving into the music and art theatre and prose. You simply can't be a half-ass goth! You either are or you're not.

I think I saw this somewhere, a shirt that says "Just because you're wearing black doesn't mean I'll like you."

I am thinking of putting this on a shirt soon but anyone can use it... its more of a inside joke but yah.....
I went "swimming" yesterday. You know, those STRONG currents and those POWERFULL waves and all. Just totally got caught in the moment....*sigh*
I had a free period so me and a few friends went to the pool and swam for a while.... but the thing is most of my friends are guys so one of my chick friends found out what my pass-time was and started insinuating that I was really going "swimming" instead of swimming. If that makes any sense at all......

Someone should make a shirt that says, "This is not my spleen." Just because spleen is a funny word.

I get my hubby and I shirts from a girl on Ebay who sells under the name 'My two cents'.
I have a shirt that says 'Inked' with old skool swallows on it.
I bought the mr a shirt that says 'I Wish I Had Whiskey And A Gun'.
It's cool if you are into psycobilly, punk, or are a flaming liberal.
I am ordering a shirt for Helio Jr. that says 'Mommy Drinks Because I Cry'.
Mr. Helio wouldn't let me get a baby jumper that says 'This Guy Thinks He's My Daddy'.
Hehe.

I just finished making a shirt that says "You say potato, I say fuck off". I'm also working on one that says "I make a killer bowl of oatmeal" and on the back it has a picture of a bowl of oatmeal, with arms, holding a gun. Amazing. I love my imagination.

I have a shirt with a segment of the Bayeux Tapestry on it, the bit supposedly of Harold, and it says 'I spy with my little eye, something beginning with A'. Yeah i'm a total history geek.
(For anyone who has no idea why that should be amusing, here's the 'copied' piece of the tapestry...

I'd never disrespect the Battle of Hastings, Restless. Anyone who can stomach dying from an arrow through the eye deserves my respect. That's some nasty shit. *shudders*

Erm, except it's a representation and not an actual account. As most people know he was not killed by an arrow in the eye, it's propoganda.
I can't remember the exact manner of his death, it was worse then the arrow though.
