I've been working my ass off lately-nothing new there. I work from home, so shaving and making myself "presentable" is optional. So this is how Florentina and I appear on a daily basis.

For those that don't know, she was adopted from Romania almost 4 years ago. She is Autistic and retarded- at this point, the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is almost a non-issue. Today, the DVD player wasn't working the way it was supposed to, and she freaked out. So I spent a while to assure her that the world was okay.

She loves the Harry Potter movies, and she attempted to make her hair look like Hermoine Granger (fluffy/bushy). So this kicked off our whole photo session this morning.

My Hellspawn loves the camera. He thinks it means he's on TV..

We're both smiling in these pics because my offspring drew a picture of a clown at school. Now everyone else named their clowns. Bo-Bo, Bozo, Bilbo, Happy.. Yknow clown names..

MY SON named his clown Hairy..

HAIRY THE TOLIET!!

I am having it framed..

And starting a fund for future therapy bills..

I'm gonna post a picture I drew on my computer. I sketched it in a program called ArtRage using a mouse and the pencil tool, then shaded it and added some detail in Paint Shop Pro.

It's just a cartoonish urban scene with some characters from my imagination.

Oh crud. Had to resize it quite a bit. Originally it was 922 x 666 pixels. Kinda pointless, but I'll post it anyway... If you're really interested in seeing the original version, PM me and I'll mail it to you if I know who you are.

I can't think of a single reason why my pics wouldn't load- they are hosted on my own server (which is friggin massive, I host several other sites with loads of traffic, tons of bandwidth and even Slashdot couldn't bring it down).

I really don't want to consume any more of Gothic.net resources than I have to. So I guess those that CAN'T see my pics are the lucky ones.

And yeah, my eyes are very green. They constantly change color on me, from a pale yellowish green to a dark teal. Sometimes I hate them, because they make me look too cold, sometimes I hate them because they are too washed out. In order to accurately show the coloring my my eyes, I would have to "color correct" one of those photos. But thats too much effort.

I prefer brown eyes, personally. Much softer and more pleasant to look at.

I've debated about posting here, because I never seem to take a decent picture. Well, one of my students asked me to pose as part of a photo project at a local cemetery, so I said yes - but only after he agreed to help me clean up the cemetery when we saw some jackasses had left vodka bottles and toilet paper all over the grounds. Since the pictures turned out fairly well, I figured why not.
