I'm working at a place called The Wedding Ring Shop, it's a locally owned high end jeweler. Most of what I'm doing right now is customer service, greeting people when they come in, getting them coffee or tea, pairing them up with a sales associate, and of course wiping down the counters every 15 minutes because smudges make the jewelery look less pretty. Soon I'll also be processing paperwork for financing, insurance, that kind of stuff. Our most important function as concierge is to contain the crazy-ness that is our sales team, which is why we assign a sales rep to a client, we don't just let whoever comes over fastest because while they are for the most part really nice people they are like sharks that smell blood in the water when a client comes in, which is also why our desk is right outside the entrance to the sales floor, people don't go in until we know who we are going to take them to. I mean I don't blame them, they work on commission and with one good sale they can earn what I make in a week (and I'm not complaining about what I make, we just have some really high ticket items), I'd probably be a little aggressive too.

I got some new pants for work yesterday and both pairs were on sale for more than half off, yay! Now I actually have more than one option on mornings when I don't have time to/don't feel like shaving my legs.

I love winter. Being fully clothed all-the-time, no one sees my legs ever.

Funny, I always find it quite enjoyable not wearing pants. It is the number one perk of living alone: pants are always optional.

I feel like wearing pants at home isn't right. Like I can't go 5 minutes lounging in jeans. Undies or jammie shorts for the win. Also screw bras.

Not seeing my legs ever leads to never shaving my legs. Which I don't mind but when I occasionally do shave I have to sacrifice a new blade that I can't reuse after that one session.

Wow that must get pricey! I use one razor over a period of like 2 months. Is that bad? are there health detriments that I'm unaware of?

Oh girl, get yourself an electric hair trimmer, that way you can get the bulk of the hair and still be able to re-use your razor... that's what I do anyway... um... cause usually I keep myself a nice rug.. but every once in a while I like to sacrifice my beautiful sparkly hair for the awesome smoothness of shavedness. Usually cause lotion just doesn't quite go on to hairy legs right.

The only downside to living here is that I always have to shave because I could end up going to the beach at pretty much any time, which I guess is a fair price for such lovely beaches

I hear ya. I was gonna make some sort of comment about how we don't need to shave and blah blah when I remembered that I shaved nearly everything when I got a boyfriend. *sigh*

It's more that salt water makes leg hair feel super gross and most of the beaches don't have a place to shower but yeah the stares of strangers is annoying

I've just started reading a book from a doctor who seems to be taking a stance against circumcision. I've never really looked in depth at any infant studies but its kind of funny how neither birth nor death is given any formal attention in the modern educational system. The whole topic of circumcision could very well be a giant study bias on account of the Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization. But I'm particularly excited to see how infant studies have unknown potential in aiding the future of transhumanism-- and one thing I'm interested in is hormone manipulation in relation to different forms of human pair bonding, and the differences and connections between the infant, the adult, and ages in between, in that regard.

I also now have intellectual German sunglasses, which makes my opinion more relevant, and thinking processes increased while listening to Darkwave & Dreamwave..
