After typing this I realize I've smoked more than what I probably ever wanted or needed to. The final thing I can say is that you, your memories, and your relationships are more important, and will always be more important than this drug.

See, I tried smoking weed once. I think in total, I smoked an entire pretty strong joint on my own - I felt nothing. I don't think I'll ever do it again, because honestly, all it did to me was make me cough (non-smoker over here, look at meee!)

Some folks don't feel the effects the first time. Then the next time they figure it won't do much of anything and end up waaay stoned for that horrible algebra test they totally forgot about and holy fuck can't move, let alone do math. Not that I'd know from personal experience or anything...

When it comes to surprises in the moonlit night, I excel without ever even trying.

There should be an app or website like Tinder but its only mandatory to have personal descriptions, rather than pictures, and is for intellectuals to get together to have platonic drunk discussions.

I have psoriasis. My face is always dry or looks flaky - I have very few good skin days.
I have spent two days in a row with fake blood made from glucose syrup and food coloring on my face.
My skin has never been this soft or looked this healthy.
Explain to me how this works! owo

There's a rocker woman that works at Starbucks located at the Student Services building on campus. I'm thinking of asking her for her number, but it's intimidating. She's very nice to me, but not sure if that means anything, because lol, customer service. However, I think I'll take the leap and ask her, anyways.
The worst that can happen is she says no, lol.

Go for it Duane. Just be sure not to ask her if she'd like to meet up for coffee

She has a girlfriend. Eh, oh well, she was very pretty, and rather too good for me, she has a great personality, and I think I'm still too insecure to hold down a relationship. The silver lining in these clouds is that I asked her for her number, and that is a step in the right direction.

I don't blame you Saya. I've always been happy that my friends are having children, but that's a huge decision to have and I seriously don't see myself becoming a father for a long time to come. Also, I hate to say this, but I think people who are about to be parents tend to look down on people who aren't parents yet. *shrugs* But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

My bff had a baby in the last year and tried soooo hard not to be smug about it, and I appreciated the effort XD mostly now I'm pissy that she doesn't want to talk about ANYTHING else, and now she's going on about me and my brother (both of us are childfree by choice) changing our minds someday.

Ugh! I hate that XD! I'm like, "Cool, you have children/a child. How are the studies going/didn't you say you have a new car?" as a way to try to steer the conversation into something else. But I'm starting to think it's futile since often the discussion goes right back to the child.

This morning could go any number of ways. My birthday happened like about 3 weeks ago (turned 22) and my bandmate has been really psyched about the Slipknot concert happening today. He really wanted me to go but I didn't have any money to go. I was never too into Slipknot either so I was a bit unmoved about seeing them at first. Needless to say he bought me a ticket anyways (it was about $250). I'm thankful to have friends like this, although I did something that kind of threw a cliffhanger on today.
Our bassist has never been to a big metal show before, and I've already gone with the previous aforementioned bandmate to two shows already in the past (Lamb of God and KMFDM) so I thought it would only be right to pass my ticket to our bassist. It's his turn to go to show. My bandmate had called me the other day though and wanted to know why I passed the ticket off since it was actually supposed to be a birthday gift. I felt horrible but I explained just what my intentions were. He wasn't mad, he understood.
Only thing is our bassist has been MIA for like two days now and we haven't gotten in touch so there's a feeling in the air he might not show up and miss the show so my bandmate told me to be ready just in case. I may or may not end up going to this show today. In any case, I hope our bassist has a lot of fun if he ends up going.
