Upload your image into a free image host (Photobucket works well). Underneath each uploaded image, there will be three text boxes. One of them looks like this: [IMG]picturecode[/IMG]. Copy and paste that into here...Voilą!

Ah! You should be okay then. One layer of black dye probably won't be so bad to remove.

Your hair looks fabulous. You should post that pic in the pictures forum for everyone to drool over. (Use the IMG tags instead of the http to make the photo show up in the forum.)

Hey, new here and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what you think I should do with my hair. I was thinking about cutting most of it off and doing a big mohawk, and dyeing it black/lime green tips. Anyone have any suggestions they would like to say about my hair. (Sorry about the quality of the picture in my pro.)

I'm just lazy to begin with. I just dye my hair and go. I don't think I'd be too good matching clothes to my hair.

Haha, I'm a man, well boy would be more percise I suppose. I usually wear a tightfitting black cloth trench coat, I think the style is called "Ripper", and "Poet". They are made by redballs, if that helps you to imagine them. With a fishnet shirt or other tightfitting material underneath. And my pants anywhere from tight leather flared, to bondage pants. I usually dont wear make up, only black around my eyes lightly when I feel like it and have time.

Oh, and occasionally I do the unisex style tight shirt and skirt. I have a very fememine build of my face and it tends to work.

It's easy when you only wear black.

You have gorgeous eyes Gato... just stunning...
I really like the straight hair, it suits your look and compliments your face much more strongly then the curled.
Good luck with the bleaching Blushing!!

Your friend was mistaken to tell you to avoid conditioner. It won't harm the color. If anything, it will help the color stay.
I'm guessing here, but your color might be fading because:
1. Your hair was healthy before you bleached it. Healthy hair doesn't hold unnatural color as well as somewhat damaged hair. (Though the bleach should have done some damage.)
2. You didn't leave the color on long enough. I think the package says 20 minutes or something ridiculous like that. I always left mine on for at least two hours. Applying heat while the color is in will help it grab, too.
3. You used a "cheap" brand of hair color. The stuff they sell at Sally's, for example, never worked well for me. Manic Panic cream always faded fast as well. However, Special Effects is awesome.

Plain bleach (especially 40 volume) will damage your hair more than blonde hair color. I wouldn't recommend turning your hair into straw just to get the color to stick, though. I used to use 20 volume bleach with good results.
Make sure there's no conditioner in your hair when you apply the color. You want the cuticle to be open so the color can get in. Once your hair is colored, though, conditioner is good.
I think you'll have better results if you try Special Effects (I've heard that La Riche/Directions is also good; never tried it myself) and leave the color in for at least a couple of hours.

Meh I gave up with that hairstyle I was trying to do. I'll just do loose curls at the ends & stick on a tophat.

Maybe you should post a picture of yourself, so that everyone can picture that style on you better. Personally I don't like it, but you should do it if you think it will look alright on yourself.

Alrighty. First off, what you want to do with your hair, and what's possible to do with your hair are two different things...You have short, blonde hair, and you say it's thick - so I'm going to go out on a wing and say it's curly or wavy or whatever. In order for you to get that hairstyle, you'd have to grow it, dye it, and straighten it. That's a bit of a pain in the ass to go through just for a hairstyle.
