Tenet, that sucks baboon ass!
You need to contact him back right away and discuss everything EPS said with him. If he still decides that you're fired, take action!

I went down there and we came to an agreement.
I understand his position. It is hard to make a schedule if someone like me may not be able to show-up. He does a business to run.
So, I went on-call. When they need me I can come in. I can also come in when I am feeling up to it and do random cleaning stuff and the like.

Sorry to hear you were fired, Tenet. Your manager sounds like a dick. Can you provide him with papers from your doctor? Maybe that will help. Or go to the labor board. Depending on the laws in your state, you might have grounds to sue. Here in S.C. it's called a "work at will" state. Meaning they can fire you for any reason, without notice, and they don't even have to tell you why. You can take it to the labor board but good luck with that, if they ever even bother to call you back. Hopefully your labor board is better.
Lackluster - why are your kidneys bleeding? that sounds bad. And if you're only 15, and have to drop out, get a GED and go to college, considering the headache that sounds like it will create for you, wouldn't it make more sense to stay in the school you're at now for a few more years and save up for college living expenses?

My Grandfather is back in hospital. It doesn’t look good.
There’s nothing I can do about it.
That’s what’s getting to me.

Tenet, will you be able to put in enough hours to make a liveable wage?
I still think it stinks. I wouldn't have gone and had that meeting with him, but that may have been the sensible thing to do. I don't know.

I miss my PDA phone. I can only get on Gothic from the PC ... and this dial -up connection is shared by 4 people.
I used to be able to log in and post from anywhere, anytime a thought occured to me. It's a little thing I know, but ... *sigh*

Shi'ark, sorry to hear about your grandad man. Makes my rant seem like a pussy lil' piss and moan. i hope everything works out for him and you as well.
i was going to rant about a snobby lil' airhead that i'll be working with for the next month. Normally i wouldn't give a rat's fucking raw ass about those kinds of girls, but this one is corrupting my chances at the other girl that i'll be working with...
i'll just say retribution will not come swift but slow...i'm gonna throw at her every single charming trick i've learned over the last seventeen years.
Again, Shi'ark, you know we're all with you.

Thanks for your support.
I found out last night that Granddad is doing better then expected and will be out of there some time next week. The cancer is still going to get him some time this year but at lest he has some more time left to get drunk with everyone down the Rugby club. He’s making good use out of what ever time he has left.

But it's not terminal yet, is it?
In any case, as long as you party every night, life is sweet.

You been spreadin' lies about my country!? This means war, Unstatesia!
Seriously though, I find it hard to believe that someone could be so stupid as to believe that. And, I must admit, kinda annoyed by the thought that there is now yet another moron walking around not only thinking Norway is a giant iceberg where the population rides polar bears to work at the fish-factory, but that it is called "Norwegia". Which is in fact a cheese, although it's spelled with a V, not a W. And we don't have a mono-rail system, either. It's all trains, buses and planes, baby.
By the way, we call it "Norge". Or "Noreg" in my particular dialect, which has a different written form than the official one. Actually, in terms of spoken dialects, Norway has a different one for each county, and even within those counties. You travel only a few miles from where I live, and people speak with another accent altogether. All pretty much understandable if you know the language, but with significant variations in both pronounciation, tonality and idiomatic expressions. Just to make things a bit more complicated.

I'm really sorry, Shi'ark. At least there's time for last orders though! I know it's horrible, but at least it's not so sudden you won't have time to say goodbye. I hope this is something that comforts you and your family when it's all over, and that you'll be glad about in the future.

I'm sorry about your grandad, Shi. He seems like a cool dude, though, and has probably had a long and interesting life.
I dunno what to say really... I worry about my grandparents, too.

Ohhhhh how I love doing that to people, and I love you for being like that!
There was this one girl who I kept convincing that a bunch of blatant fabrications were based on fact. Then I would tell her that it was true. Of course, when I finally told her that Abinthe was legal in Canada, she didn't believe me. The shame in that is that it truly is legal.

Shi'ark, I'm positive that you will do it to the extent that you can, but I hope that you spend as much time with your grandfather as you can both tolerate and afford (whichever one is the lesser quantity). I hope for many good memories for you of him. Best wishes.
