More to the point, is it easier to get than the normal stuff and is it any good?

Why hasn't anyone suggested a few small unsuspecting grilled children?
Wait.. no meat ah?
Okay a few small unsuspecting grilled vegetarian children? That's goth right?
So really, red food dye is your friend. Black pasta doesn't taste like octopus, I suggest giving it a try... perhaps a little drizzled "red" parmesan peppercorn Alfredo with mixed veggies or rich roasted garlic butter portabella mushrooms. Try a broken loaf of French artisan bread with a side of Extra Virgin Olive Oil also sprinkled with parmesan for dipping... umm a small but gorgeous spring mix salad with fresh red radicchio drizzled in a dripping red straberry vinaigrette and topped off with a few blueberries and raspberries. Last, for dessert (assuming your over 21) a glass of smooth sparkling spamonte' touched with a splash of orange juice served cocktail style garnished with de-seeded slices of blood orange and a few of the left over blueberry's.
Yes/no??

I've never had home-cooked bean curd that tasted any good, but if you go to a decent Chinese / Thai / etc restaurant you should be able to get some cooked well.

Did you know that a wild goth eats tobacco, while a zoo goth eats absinthe jelly?

I do believe I have to agree with GeishaGirl on this meal plan.
I was going to suggest some vegan sushi rolls and a fine riesling to boot. But the Italian is an excellent meal as well. Eggplant is very versatile as well as mushrooms.

I'd say something that would seem something a gothic would eat, taking away clichés, would be a mostly vegetarian food, or something elegant, like italian food with a nice burgundy, or for the non-drinkers, super sweet cold tea. The thing that would make it "gothy" would be the ambience; a dim place, only lighted by dozens of sweet pea candles and a romantic background music; I'd recommend Piotr Tchaikovsky

I was going to come a do a long post that rambled on about rich foods, black velvet tablecloths and lots of candles followed by lots of good, corset-aided sex. But, anoyingly enough, GeishaGirl appears to have got there before me.
Have fun though ;-)
