Brokeback Mountain

I'm about to go see this. Anyone taken a gander at it? How did you like it and do you think that it's a really big deal?

I really really liked it. It pulled at my heart. Such a sad sad love story.

It was sad, and I thought it was rather good.

The only letdown was Heath Ledger, his accent is sooooo unconvincing!

i haven't seen it. they wouldn't show it in my area for a while, even had a local news spot on why they wouldn't, and bible thumpers galor commenting, etc, 'course i missed the actual news piece. still, its at most of the theaters here now, but i have a feeling it will piss me off, so i'm waiting for dvd.

because of the whole 'forbidden love' thing, and my personal views on sexuality. i've never understood why people have to place boundaries on who they fall in love with, or allow something as trivial as gender dictate those limits. i dont know. its hard to explain. it just really pisses me off sometimes.
